What a beautiful and powerful evening of prayer we had at SMC South! 🙏❤️

It was truly heart-felt, filled with passion as we gathered together to pray for our communities, our leaders and nation, our younger generations, and for those facing different challenges and difficult seasons in life.

There is something incredibly powerful when a group of people come together in unity to seek God in prayer. 🙏🔥

As we continue Prayer Week across our church, we’d love for you to be part of it. Come, pray with us, and let’s believe together for God to move in our churches, communities, families, and nation.

What a beautiful Sunday at SMC! 💛

We had the joy of celebrating our Kids Church graduates as they step into the next chapter of their journey — from kids to teens! 🎓✨ It’s amazing to see how quickly they’re growing, and we’re so proud of each one of them. 🥹

Mimi shared a powerful sermon as we continued our prayer series on intercession, reflecting on the words Jesus taught us:

“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” 🙏

Give us this day our daily bread. 🍞🙏

We often think that every prayer needs to be big, elaborate, or extravagant. But Jesus reminds us that our Heavenly Father cares about the everyday details of our lives. We can come to Him with our daily needs, knowing that He hears us and cares for us.

This Sunday, Eoin took us through different aspects of prayer and explored why God doesn’t always answer our prayers in the way we expect—but how we can continue to trust Him through it all.

SUNDAY RECAP 🙏✨

We continued our Prayer Series this Sunday, as Mimi took us into first line of The Lord’s Prayer — “Our Father.” 🤍

An incredible and challenging message that made us pause and ask: How do we relate to God? Jesus showed us that we can approach God as our Father — with trust, intimacy and confidence. 🙏

From a powerful time of worship 🎶🙌 to a church picnic filled with food, laughter and fellowship 🧺☀️ — it was such a beautiful Sunday together!

Some Sundays stay with you long after they end... 🤍

This was one of them.

Moments of wholehearted worship. God's Word speaking into our hearts. Conversations that encouraged us. Laughter shared by the sea. Coffee, cake, and time that never feels long enough. And the incredible privilege of celebrating as two of our young people publicly declared their faith through baptism.

These are the moments that remind us what church truly is.

It's not just a Sunday service or a place we meet. It's a family that worships together, grows together, celebrates together, and walks through life together with Jesus at the centre.

Our hearts leave full—not because everything is perfect, but because we know we don't do life alone. We have people to pray with us, stand beside us, encourage us, and point us back to Christ.

This is the heartbeat of SMC South.

We're so thankful for what God is building in and through this family. ❤️
