A huge amount of work has gone into organising our first Parish Draw in many years. We are incredibly grateful to all those who bought tickets and gave us words of encouragement along the way!

A particular thanks to the promoters who went above and beyond, reaching all parts of the Parish and did with great enthusiasm! To the admin team who supported the office in the recording of all sales and monies, your help was invaluable also.

The first draw takes place tomorrow morning (7th) in Clones Parish Office at 11.00am with results being announced at the end of the 11.30am Mass.

Now it just remains to wish you all the very best of luck over the next 10 months!

ULSTER SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL AT ST TIERNACH'S PARK, CLONES ON 17th MAY 2026:

โš ๏ธ Please see parking map for Clones Town below.

โ“๏ธThere's a lot of information below, so please take time to study it and hopefully it can assist you.

๐ŸšŒ We are encouraging supporters to carpool and use coaches. Please plan to arrive early as traffic is expected to be heavy in the area.

We usually see a minimum additional 5000 visitors to the town above game attendees on Ulster Final day. With the high demand on tickets for this match, the additional visitors could reach up to 15000.

๐Ÿšซ There will be active towing in operation for those causing any traffic obstructions or blocking private residential access.

๐Ÿš All supporters coaches will be directed to the Diamond, to a designated parking area.

โ›”๏ธ No coaches will be permitted access via minor roads.

๐Ÿšป There will be additional toilet facilities at Barry McGuigan Park (98 Avenue) and the Farmyard (Lower Fermanagh St).

โ—๏ธPlease keep in mind that the majority of pay parking locations are in aid of charity. Please respect car parking stewards.

โ™ป๏ธ Please keep Clones clean and use the bins provided.

๐ŸŽญ๐ŸŽถ Clones Chamber of Commerce and Monaghan County Council have organised entertainment including live music at the Diamond and Barry McGuigan Park between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

๐ŸŽฌ The game will be live streamed at Barry McGuigan Park.

๐ŸŽถ There is also live music between 2.15pm until 3pm in St Tiernach's Park.

๐ŸŒ Access routes:

Primary access routes will be N54 from Monaghan, Roslea Rd and R183 from Newbliss.

โ€ผ๏ธ As Monaghan supporters will know the area better, we ask that you utilise the minor access routes. Such as the Scotshouse Rd, Cavan Rd, Newtownbutler Rd, Magheraveeley Rd and Lacky Rd.

- parking is available in the Town centre and on all access roads.

- parking is also available on the Cavan side of the Town, with pedestrian access to Town centre via the Marina.

- there is also ample parking close to the grounds on the Roslea, Lacky and Magheraveeley roads. They are be accessed from the N54 by turning right for Harte Peat.

- Monaghan Town can be avoided coming from Clontibret side by using the bypass towards Grahams (Coolshanagh roundabouts); then follow diversions just after Circle K on N2, turning to the left after Circle K.
Coming from Emyvale side, follow diversions to the right just before Circle K (as you are entering Monaghan Town).

โ™ฟ๏ธ Gael Scoil Eois (Roslea Rd) has significant parking suitable for Disability Badge holders, which backs onto the grounds and has pedestrian access to the church.
- please note that access from the Town centre will be closed at approximately 2.45pm due to pedestrian traffic. Access will still be possible via the Roslea Rd side.

๐ŸŽซ Official car park access from the Town Centre will close at approximately 2.45pm due to pedestrian traffic. Access can still be gained via the Roslea Rd.

โ›”๏ธ Road closures will come into effect in the Diamond from 8.30am.
Further closures around the pitch and Fermanagh St will be in place from 11.30am. N54 will remain open during general road closures.

๐Ÿš• Traffic volumes will be high, so expect delays both coming and leaving.
