Congratulations Msgr. Enda Murphy!

Monsignor Enda Murphy will celebrate a special Mass to mark the Silver Jubilee of his Ordination to the Priesthood on Sunday (14th June). The Mass will take place in St. Ninnidh's Church at 3pm. The Mass will be followed by refreshments in St. Ninnidh’s Hall.

🎨 ART + LETTERS: TAX HAVEN IRELAND

An exhibition of work by Paul Connolly, reflecting on a decade of “Letters to the Editor” and a decade of support for a farm school in rural Africa, will be on display in Bailieborough Library (Market House, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan).

🌍 Care for Creation Gathering – Diocese of Kilmore 🌱

Join us on Wednesday 10th June 2026 at 7:00pm in the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan, as the Diocese of Kilmore celebrates the many inspiring Care of Creation initiatives taking place across our parishes.

Hosted by the Kilmore Care of Creation Group and Bishop Martin Hayes, the evening will include prayer, shared experiences, encouragement for parish projects, and preparations for the Season of Creation 2026.

Parishes from across Cavan and Leitrim will share the wonderful work already completed and projects now underway in caring for our common home.

This gathering will also help prepare for the special Season of Creation Mass, broadcast on RTÉ One from the Cathedral of SS Patrick & Felim on Sunday 6th September 2026 at 11:00am.

🍃 All who are interested in care for creation, parish projects, faith, community, and the environment are warmly welcome to attend.

A beautiful testimony about Fr. Anthony Fagan by Melanie Love.

"Saddened to hear of Fr Anthony's passing,

Father Anthony was one of life’s true gentlemen, a priest whose kindness and quiet compassion touched so many families in our community. When my father and grandfather passed away the same week in 2008 he called to our home at a time when grief felt overwhelming. He never imposed or expected anything from us. Instead, with his calm and gentle manner, he simply let us know that he was there if we needed to talk. That small act of kindness meant more than words could ever express.

Our wedding day in 2013, he had a laid-back and positive attitude that immediately put us at ease. What could have been a nervous and emotional day became warm, relaxed and full of happiness because of the way he guided us through it. He had a special gift for making people feel comfortable, valued and cared for.

We have lost a truly great man, and his absence will be deeply felt throughout the community. I will never forget him or his kindness he showed my family when we needed it most. May he rest in peace."

Relics of St. Oliver Plunkett will visit the Conaty Chapel of the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan, on Wednesday 3 June 2026 from 10:00a.m. to 10:00p.m.

Masses will be celebrated at:

✠ 1:15p.m. (especially for those doing examinations at this time)
✠ 5:45p.m.
✠ 8:00p.m. celebrated by Bishop Martin Hayes

Confessions will be available from:
• 12 noon – 1:00p.m.
• 4:30p.m. – 5:30p.m.
• 6:30p.m. – 7:30p.m.

The visit of the relics is being organised by the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre with the assistance of the local Knights of Saint Columbanus.

All are very welcome to this special day of prayer, pilgrimage and reflection.
