Con Houlihan Memorial Concert Con Houlihan Memorial Concert is an event held in Castleisland as part of the Castleisland Town Festival & Carnival since 2013 . He died on 4th August 2012.

Con Houlihan was born on 6th December 1925. He grew up in Castleisland, Co. Kerry and became a writer and a film maker. he has written many books and participated in many others. In 1962 Con Houlihan was voted "Kerry Rugby Player of the Year".
