Christ the King Parish is part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide. RCCG was founded in 1952 based on a divine revelation and has since grown to the four corners of the globe. RCCG is currently presided by our Worldwide General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye who is a renowned Prophet of God and has been listed by Newsweek magazine as one of the 50 most influential people in the world. He has also been invited to the United Nations Headquarters in New York to lead prayers for the Nations among others. As a worldwide church we have about 100 Parishes in Ireland which is ever increasing with our Ireland Headquarters in Dublin. The RCCG churches in Ireland are overseen by our National General Overseer Pastor Tunde Adebayo-Oke who has distinguished himself as a Christian leader of excellence and integrity. RCCG Christ the King Parish, Castlebar was started on the 30 Nov 2008. The church moved to her new premises in May 2009 at the N5 business Park in Castlebar as a direct result of the favour and miracle working power of God. Though in its early stages, the church has made a significant impact in the community by enhancing integration. Christ the King Parish is a community based church with the vision to become a light house in County Mayo where the love of God can be experienced in a tangible way. The church is open to all and sundry and it’s a place where people from different backgrounds and cultures come together to love God in Spirit and in truth. We believe that Jesus Christ is building His church in partnership with us and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Christ the King Parish will move from victory to victory and grace to grace and our path will shine brighter and brighter unto a perfect day. A warm welcome awaits you at Christ the King Parish with incredible live gospel music and practical, undiluted and uncompromising word of God confirmed by the power of God.
