Carlo called the Eucharist his "highway to heaven." Standing before his relic, just beside the Tabernacle at St Michael's, you are in a sense standing at the very crossroads of his life — before the Lord he loved above all things.

Take a moment in silence. Let the nearness of the Blessed Sacrament and the communion of the saints sink in.

This moment of grace invites a deepening of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, to which St Carlo dedicated his life.

You once cradled the Christ Child with hands calloused by holy labor yet overflowing with boundless heavenly tenderness. I ask you to gather my family into that same devoted embrace. Cloak our home in your unwavering protection. Let your Chaste Heart, forever blooming with the spotless lilies of absolute trust in the Divine Will, serve as an impenetrable shelter between my loved ones and any creeping shadow of unseen harm.

Breathe the profound and gentle peace of Nazareth into our daily rhythms 🌿 Defend us from worldly anxieties that attempt to siphon our joy. Stand as the luminous sentinel at our doors and bless our hours of rest. I ask you to banish all illness and physical frailty far from our threshold. Infuse our rooms with the radiant health, comforting warmth, and spiritual vitality that once illuminated your own sacred dwelling.

When the restless winds of uncertainty arise, anchor our fragile hearts in the exact unwavering faith that safely guided your steps across starless desert nights 🕯️ O glorious St. Joseph, tender provider and fierce protector of innocence, never let us wander beyond your watchful gaze. "Everything, even sweeping, scraping vegetables, weeding a garden and waiting on the sick could be a prayer, if it were offered to God."

Most of us will never do great things in the eyes of the world.

Instead, we are called to be faithful in the ordinary things: washing dishes, changing diapers, answering emails, going to work, caring for family, and doing our daily duties.

Some work might be like little "crosses" depending on our temperaments and what we have going on in our lives, but we are called to suffer, aren't we?

When offered to God, even the most humble tasks can become a prayer.

The saints remind us that holiness is not found only in extraordinary sacrifices, but in doing ordinary things with extraordinary love. 🙏❤️
