On this we stand with and celebrate the incredible women across Ireland and around the world.

The IWD 2026 Give To Gain theme encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration. It also requires open hearts and minds.

When we give, we gain. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication, it reinforces a sense of connection and purpose.

Give To Gain emphasises the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organisations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. When women thrive, we all rise.

What can this look like? Whether through knowledge, resources, donations, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, contributing to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.

It can also look like, individuals giving support through calling out stereotypes, challenging discrimination, questioning bias, celebrating women's success, and more.

Together, let's help forge gender equality through abundant giving. 🙏

☘️ This St. Patrick’s Day the President, the Rev Alan Wardlow is inviting the whole Connexion to join together for an intentional day of prayer for the Church.
