Death is a difficult topic for many to discuss. If you’re a believer in Jesus, death holds no fear for you. As Jesus said he is the resurrection in the life when you believe in him, you will never die, even though you physically die from this world. Believe in him and death has no power over you.

Hi everyone, this is Debbie Smith.

Please pray that God will continue to use our ministry, Wee Can Know, to teach little ones in St. Bernard Parish about Jesus.

We have a young lady leading the ministry in St. Bernard Parish, Mya Augustine. She is a graduate of Chalmette High School and a student at Leavell College.

Today is GiveNOLA Day—a special day each year when people can support Wee Can Know and help us continue sharing the love of Jesus with young children.

Please join us in prayer that God will provide the funds needed for Mya and her sister, Mia, to continue this important work in the parish.

We love you, and we are so thankful for the years we served at DHBC.
