A message from Talitha K*m Sisters from the grassroots! For two days, local leaders and participants at the Talitha K*m Sri Lanka conference came together with a single goal: learning how to actively identify and protect victims of human trafficking in their own communities.

The gathering, themed "From Awareness to Action" brought together 45 participants to develop concrete action plans focused on:

๐Ÿ”ธ Collaborative networks for the protection of vulnerable persons
๐Ÿ”ธ A clear roadmap for sustainable anti-trafficking initiatives

Polres Blitar Kota successfully uncovered a human trafficking (TPPO) case involving online prostitution with underage victims. Five suspects were arrested, while the victims were found to still be minors and school dropouts.
