Love is interconnected: Our relationship with God is directly reflected in how we treat others.
Sometimes we think loving God is only done in prayer or during Sunday worship. But Matthew 22:37-39 reminds us that loving God and loving people are inseparable. We cannot truly claim to love God, whom we cannot see, if we fail to love our neighbors who are right in front of us.
On the flip side, we cannot love others genuinely and consistently without drawing from the endless well of God’s love. Loving God is the source; loving people is the proof.Let’s reflect on our hearts today. Is our love for God overflowing into the lives of those around us?
