Hidup Kudus di Dunia yang Cemar

Imamat 20:26 (TB2)

Tuhan, ajarlah kami berdoa.

Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Verse 3
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Verse 4
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Verse 5
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Verse 6
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Has broken ev'ry barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

God's Faithfulness Strengthens Us
(Our Reflection)
2 Thessalonians 3:3 (AYT)
"But the Lord is faithful. He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one."

Have you ever felt powerless in difficult situations? Many people today face uncertainty, injustice, and hardship. The Thessalonian believers experienced persecution and opposition, yet Paul reminded them of an important truth: the Lord is faithful.
Paul warned that in the last days there would be wicked and lawless people, accompanied by false signs and wonders that could deceive many. Therefore, he urged believers to pray so that the preaching of God's Word would continue unhindered.

At the same time, Paul encouraged the church by reminding them that God is faithful in all His promises and righteous in all His ways. The same faithful God who strengthened the Thessalonians continues to strengthen His people today.
Whatever difficulties, suffering, or challenges we face, let us remember that the Lord will strengthen us and protect us from evil. Trusting in ourselves or in others may disappoint us, but those who put their trust in the Lord will stand firm.
Bring every burden to Jesus and lay it at His feet. He invites us:
"Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
β€” Matthew 11:28
Amen.

A New Life Abounding in Love
1 Thessalonians 3:12 (NIV)
"May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you."
The church in Thessalonica was born in the midst of hardship and opposition. Founded by Paul and Silas during their second missionary journey, these believers faced persecution because of their faith in Christ. Yet instead of turning away, they remained strong and faithful to the Lord.
When Timothy visited them and returned with news of their steadfast faith, Paul was filled with joy and gratitude before God. Their endurance in suffering became a testimony of God's sustaining grace.
Believers today may also experience pressures, uncertainties, and difficulties in many forms. Yet God often uses these seasons to deepen our faith, teach us to rely on Him, and shape us into mature followers of Christ.
Jesus reminded His disciples that following Him means taking up our cross each day. But in the midst of carrying our cross, God calls us to continue growing in love.
Paul's prayer for the Thessalonian church remains a beautiful prayer for us today:
"May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else."
May we not only remain faithful in trials, but also abound in love toward one another and toward all people.
Amen.

🌿 God Changes the Lips of the Nations 🌿

Zephaniah 3:9 (NIV)
"Then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the LORD and serve Him shoulder to shoulder."

God is the One who takes the initiative to transform lives. He is able to change unclean lips into clean lips, hearts that wander into hearts that seek Him, and lives marked by sin into lives that glorify Him.
As Christians redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we are called to guard our words. Too often our lips are used to speak harsh words, lies, or words that wound others. Yet every day God speaks through His Word, inviting us to repentance and renewal.

May the Lord purify our lips so that our words become a blessing and bring glory to His name.
Prayer:
"O LORD, deliver me from lying lips and from deceitful tongues" (Psalm 120:2).

πŸ™ Intercessory Prayer:
β€’ Pray that believers will love God's Word and persevere in prayer.
β€’ Pray for families and for God's guidance in providing suitable life partners for those who are ready for marriage.
β€’ Pray for the missionary ministry among the Culambacu people in Southeast Sulawesi (population: 2,200), that they may hear the Gospel and experience God's restoration.
β€’ Pray for God's blessings upon our neighbors and surrounding communities.

"Lord, teach us to pray." πŸ™
