Greetings from the WSCF Asia Pacific Regional Office in Jakarta!

Peace is more than the absence of war.

Militarization is not peace. When weapons, military bases, and power continue to expand, ordinary people are the ones who carry the cost.

As young people, may we keep questioning, speaking out, and building a world where peace is rooted in justice, dignity, and life for all ✊🌏

Greetings from the WSCF Asia Pacific Regional Office in Jakarta!

Thursdays in Black is a global movement, and as students and young Christians in Asia-Pacific, we’re part of it. We believe every person is created in the image of God, and standing against violence is part of how we live out our faith.

One in three women worldwide face physical or sexual violence in their lifetime. We stand in solidarity with them, and we mourn with everyone who has been harmed, women and men, girls and boys.

Change begins when communities refuse to stay silent. Together, we strengthen one another, raise our voices, and take action for a future free from violence.

So we wear black, we speak out, and we stand with survivors. Join us, wear black every Thursday, take a photo, and tag us. Let’s make our campuses, churches, and communities safe for everyone.
