Did you know our Kids and Preteens follow the lectionary in their Sunday curriculum?

That means the stories of Scripture they explore in their classes come from the same readings read in the service. So when church is over, the conversation does not have to be.

You and your children can keep reflecting together, asking questions, and noticing what God might be saying in the same story you both heard.

Hi CTK Kids! 👋

We are excited to welcome you back this Sunday. Our team has been busy preparing for your return.

We also want to introduce two people who will be helping keep our kids’ area safe, for example making sure no one wanders into the elevator by themselves. They have been with us for a few months already, but starting this Sunday they will always be wearing a special jacket with the CTK logo, so we wanted you to know who they are.

Pictured here is Mas Fajar. He takes turns each Sunday with Mbak Murni (not pictured), standing by in the CTK Commons living room or in the hallway near the elevator. Now that you know who they are, be sure to say hello the next time you see them.

During the holiday season, as our kids ministry takes a break, we worship together in a family service and return to something simple and timeless: storytelling for our children before the preaching, with materials developed in-house.

We are grateful for the team who prepared this thoughtfully ahead of time, making space for our children to listen, imagine, and participate.

To help your kids make the most of our family service, our team has prepared a simple journal just for them. Inside, they will find kid-friendly sermon notes, space to write, draw, and even doodle while our Kids and Pre/Teens ministries are on break.

Let’s help them stay engaged and grow through worship together.
