Rest in Security

Do you have thoughts about the future that worry you today? Are you waiting to hear back from someone where news could be either good or bad? Is there something in your life that you need to “wait and see” how it will turn out? These types of situations can be frustrating and also anxiety-building.

Job 11:18 says, “And you will feel secure, because there is hope; you will look around and take your rest in security.” In His love there is hope, and in His love there is safety. Fear not tomorrow, for tomorrow brings many opportunities. Speak to the Lord about what troubles you today. Through His love, anything is possible!

Our Heavenly Father, sometimes I am afraid. We live in a messed-up world. There are a lot of things I don’t understand. I know that you hold my life in Your hands. My time is not my own but Yours. Lord God, I remember the times You’ve saved me. I remember how You always bring me into a place of favor and blessing. Lord, my faith will not waver. I trust in You only. During this time of pandemic, I will wait for You to protect and save my family and I from this situation. I praise You Lord. “You are the God of my salvation. You always and continually deliver me from the hand of my enemy. When I am weak, You are my strength. When I sit in silence, feeling alone, deep in my heart I know I am not alone. You are with me. You have a purpose for all of these, and I choose to wait for your plan to be revealed. Waiting with Patience

Heavenly Father, during this pandemic, I have a lot of fears, frustrations and stresses. But I believe I have heard clearly from You and accept what You have prepared for me. Today, I choose to wait with patience. Please help me when I become discouraged and begin to doubt Your promises. Forgive me when I become uncertain and feel like I didn’t hear from You.
