Baca: 1 Timotius 1:12-17

Perkataan ini benar dan patut diterima sepenuhnya, "Kristus Yesus datang ke dunia untuk menyelamatkan orang berdosa," dan di antara mereka akulah yang paling berdosa. (1 Timotius 1:15)

Bacaan Alkitab Setahun:
Yeremia 49-50

Seekor gajah sirkus patuh pada pawangnya. Ia mengangkat kedua kaki depan, menendang bola, berguling-guling, juga memijit si pawang. Ia tidak memberontak sekalipun tidak ada tali yang mengikatnya. Kalau ia mau menolak, tentu bukan hal sulit baginya. Cukup dengan melilitkan belalainya, manusia pasti kalah. Tetapi, ia tidak melakukannya karena telah dilatih untuk tidak melepaskan diri.

Pikiran kita dapat terhambat secara psikologis. Hambatan ini dapat muncul dari pengalaman hidup atau pergaulan yang keliru, trauma masa lalu, luka batin, pengalaman buruk pada masa kecil, cara pandang yang keliru, atau pembelajaran dan pendidikan yang tidak tepat. Kemunculannya bisa berupa kecanggungan bertindak, kesulitan berbicara, kesulitan mengaktualisasikan diri, juga dalam bentuk sindroma rendah diri.

Hambatan serupa juga bisa terjadi dalam kehidupan rohani. Masa lalu yang kelam sering membuat kita merasa tak layak di hadapan Tuhan sekalipun kita sudah bertobat. Iman kita jadi sulit bertumbuh. Kita perlu belajar dari Paulus yang oleh imannya kepada Tuhan menjadi bebas dari hambatan mental. Ia mengakui latar belakang hidupnya yang kelabu karena pernah menjadi penganiaya jemaat Allah. Tetapi Paulus juga mengakui bahwa Yesus Kristus menguatkannya, menganggapnya setia, dan memberi kepercayaan untuk terlibat dalam pelayanan. Paulus mengakui bahwa Yesus mengasihinya sebagai orang yang paling berdosa dan telah menunjukkan kesabaran-Nya. Bagaimana dengan kita?—EBL

JESUS died to save our Souls and not our body, for the body belongs to dust while the Soul belongs to God the Creator...Let's start nourishing our Souls with the Word of God as the end is drawing nearer. JESUS said, "Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. (LUKE 21 : 34)"...Brethren, do you care much about your body, and less about your Soul? Ask yourself...,,GOD LOVES YOU

Constant preaching of the gospel is like a snare to an enemy, It catches them whenever they step on it. Therefore we shall keep on preaching the gospel until we get them surrendered. For an enemy of God today can turn to a Friend of God tomorrow, As the scripture says, "For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edge sword, piercing even to the division of Soul and Spirit. (HEBREWS 4 : 12)". JESUS SAVES! Repent and believe in the gospel...GOD BLESS YOU

Other "gods" are meant to be carried by their worshipers, to a place they chooses to keep it. They are "man made gods" therefore man has authority over them. These "gods" are lifeless, they are blind, mute and powerless. Our God is worthy, He moves from place to place taking care of His sheep. He carries us, He leads us, He guides us, He protects us and most of all, He gives us eternal life. We cannot worship what we created with our hands, rather we shall worship God our Creator....Are you an idol worshiper? REPENT and turn to God... GOD BLESS YOU

The colour of the skin is the beauty behind God's creation of man...Indeed He created everyone in His own image, beautifying everyone with astonishing colour that pleases Him. Isn't it amazing? Who are we to condemn God's creation? I say to you, avoiding hatred on God's creation is avoiding God's wrath. Therefore say NO to racism today and love One Another irrespective of their skin colour...GOD BLESS YOU

We don't live by age anymore, we live by faith; Anyone who truly believes in Christ Jesus is destined to eternal Life. A friend said to me "Your work of God on earth is so Mysterious & Marvelous at your age". And I said to her, "Age is a thing of this world but Jesus Christ is everlasting, and those who are in Christ are everlasting people. I don't live by age, I live by faith. JESUS said, "Because I live, you will live also. (JOHN 14 vs 19)"....I shall live because my Jesus liveth, preach it..

God does not appoint by Merit as the world does. He chooses ordinary people, calls them out of sin and appoint them for the great commission. Worldly appointment is based on Merit, but God's appointment is based on His infinity mercy, love, kindness and compassion He has for us. God's appointment signified His unfathomable mysterious way...Rejoice! We are God's elect, the chosen generation...GOD BLESS YOU

At the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, those who have rejected His word while on earth will have no excuse for their rejection. The Word of God is Christ Himself, and those who hears His words and does them are never barren, but are fruitful....Not by religion nor by Church neither is it by work, obedience to God's word is the entrance to eternal life. JESUS is the beginning of those who ended their lives with Him on earth, but an end to those who rejected Him while on earth. For it is better to die in Jesus than to die in sin. Therefore as we all have started with Him let us also end it with Him, that we may have a new beginning....Well, this is how it works, JESUS said, "Be faithful until death". (REVELATION 2 : 10)". I LOVE YOU ALL.

JESUS didn't come to question sinners in order for them to feel ashamed of themselves, He loves them. He has always come with one question, saying "do you believe in Me? Your Lord is ever willing to forgive all your sins if only you are also willing to come to Him. Therefore confess your sins to Jesus that you may receive forgiveness of sins....Humble yourself before JESUS and don't feel ashamed talking to Him, for He is your True Lover. BE BLESSED

Faith is not a material thing that should come by sizes or by measure. When the disciples told Jesus, "Lord increase our faith", though they were expecting an increment without knowing that faith increment wasn't in God's agenda, until Jesus revealed it to them saying, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, be pulled up by the roots and it would obey you. (LUKE 17 : 5-6)"...You have been praying for an increment of faith and yet there hasn't been any sign of increment, why not try and connect the little one you have to JESUS by believing in Him without doubt. For your little Faith in God can bring a miracle down if connected. BE BLESSED.

If we can be able to love One Another despite our religious categorization, there won't be hardship nor suffering. JESUS knowing there would be religious categorization in this wicked generation didn't tell us to love a particular set of people, rather He urged us to love One Another as we love ourselves...Love breaks barrier, it breaks the walls of enmity and liberate the soul from self-bondage.
