This week in Bali:

We're so excited during these incoming two weeks periods, since we will celebrate Galungan ceremony on 7 September 2016 which then will be followed by Kuningan day, 10 days after the Galungan (17 September 2016).

Galungan as we know is a Balinese ceremony celebrating the victory of dharma over adharma (the good against evil).
It marks the time when the ancestral spirits visit the Earth. The last day of the celebration is Kuningan which will happen 10 days after, when they return. The date is calculated according to the 210-day Balinese calendar.

Many houses will be decorated during the ceremonial time, many prays will be chanted along with the ritual offerings all around Bali, and also here in Ulun Danu Beratan Bali. So why don't you join us celebrating THE SPIRIT of this ceremony here in Bali? :)
