✨Agapé✨
Ma 10 órai szentmise után tarjuk szokásos első vasárnapi agapénkat, mely remek lehetőség új emberek megismerésére, a nyári élmények megosztására! Sok szeretettel várunk mindenkit a közösségi termünkbe, kezdjük együtt az őszt!
✨Agapé szolgálat✨
Az agapé csapata újabb lehetőségre, szolgálatra hív minket. Szolgálni és segíteni két módon lehet, mindkét mód nagy segítség, amit hálásan köszönünk:
1. Toborzunk. Misék után az agapé szervezőinél, illetve e-mailben a [email protected] e-mail címen lehet jelezni a csatlakozási szándékot. Minden hó első vasárnapján misekezdés előtt egy órával (normál esetben ez 9:00) érkezünk kenyeret kenni, előkészülni, majd agapé után elpakolunk. Közben beszélgetünk, ismerkedünk, barátságokat építünk.
2. Támogatást gyűjtünk. Minden agapénál kihelyezünk egy pénzgyűjtésre alkalmas edényt vagy dobozt. Ebbe hálásan fogadunk minden adományt, hiszen az agapét egyedül a hívek anyagi adományaiból tartjuk fönn. Az eddigi adományokat is és az elkövetkezőket is hálás szívvel köszönjük. Nem csak pénzadománynak örülünk: külön öröm, amikor a hívek hoznak süteményt, italt, ehető- és iható adományokat. Az agapé célja, hogy teret és lehetőséget adjon a közösségünk építésére. A régóta jelen lévő és kapcsolódni vágyó, vagy épp frissen a közösségünkbe lépő társainkat egy sütemény mellett könnyebben megszólítjuk, mint anélkül. Az első agapé elindítása óta folyamatosan tapasztaljuk mindannyiunk munkájának, figyelmének, egymás iránti érdeklődésének áldásos gyümölcseit. És ezt nagyon köszönjük a kedves híveknek!
✨Zarándoklat✨
A héten indulunk a korábban meghirdetett Olaszországi zarándoklatra Pió atyához és a Gargano-hegyre, ahol Szent Mihály arkangyal megjelent. A zarándoklatot első szentmisénk idei 20. évfordulójának alkalmából (amelyet november 15-én, Egyháznapon ünneplünk majd) hálaadásul, közösségünk megmaradásáért és gyarapodásáért ajánljuk fel. Kérjük a testvéreket, hogy imáikban csatlakozzanak ezen szándékokhoz!
✨Felnőtt katekézis✨
Ősztől újraindul a felnőtt katekézis. Sok szeretettel várjuk mindazok jelentkezését, akik a beavató szentségekben felnőttként szeretnének részesülni, vagy hitükben, egyházi ismereteikben szeretnének fejlődni! Az időpontot az érdeklődőkkel egyeztetjük. Aki szeretne részt venni az alkalmakon, jelentkezzen a szentmise után a sekrestyében Gellért atyánál!
✨Gyermekhittan✨
Az új tanév kezdetével gyermekhittanunk is meghirdetésre kerül. Időpontot az érdeklődőkkel egyeztetve tűzünk ki. Aki szeretné, hogy gyermeke egy jó hangulatú, az egyház tanítását átadó hittancsoportba járjon, jelentkezzen Ambrus Betti hitoktatónál a szentmise után a sekrestyében, vagy az [email protected] e-mail címen!
✨Mindenki Születésnapja Életvédő Séta✨
Szeptember 12-én idén is megrendezésre kerül az életvédők sétája, a "Mindenki Születésnapja" rendezvény. A résztvevők 10 órakor indulnak a Széchenyi István térről, és változatos programokat hallgathatnak a Tabánon a kora délutánon keresztül. Keresztényként kötelességünk kiállni az emberi méltóság és a magzati életek mellett, amire ez is egy kiváló lehetőség; éppen ezért szeretettel bátorítjuk templomunk híveit is a csatlakozásra!

✨Hétkápolna búcsú✨
Idén is megrendezésre kerül a váci Hétkápolna búcsú, melynek keretében szeptember 13-án (vasárnap) 17:00-kor régi rítusú püspöki kismisét celebrál Dr. Varga Lajos nyugalmazott váci segédpüspök atya. Idén is megrendezésre kerül templomunk búcsúja, a búcsú napján, szeptember 29-én misével, az október 3-4-i hétvégén pedig virrasztással, püspöki szentmisével. További részletekkel hamarosan jelentkezünk!
✨Őszi egyházi latin kurzusok az ELTE-n✨
Akik érdeklődnek a római anyaszentegyház anyaszentnyelve iránt, és szeretnének vele közelebbről megismerkedni, vagy meglévő tudásukat elmélyíteni, azoknak két ingyenes lehetőséget is ajánlunk az őszi félévben az ELTE BTK Múzeum körúti kampuszán:
1. Teljesen kezdőknek (gyorstalpaló kurzus): Földváry Miklós tart intenzív bevezető kurzust az egyházi latin nyelvbe. Időpont: Csütörtökönként 16:00 óra (Első alkalom: szeptember 10.) Helyszín: ELTE BTK R épület (Rákóczi út 5.), I. emelet 122.
2. Haladóbbaknak (Bibliaolvasó szeminárium): aki már rendelkezik alapfokú vagy haladóbb nyelvismerettel, azt szeretettel látjuk Varga Benjámin szemináriumán. A félév során Sámuel II. könyvét olvassuk a latin Vulgata alapján – olyan izgalmas és drámai történeteken keresztül, mint Dávid király és Betsabé viszonya, vagy Absolon tragikus kimenetelű lázadása. Időpont: Csütörtökönként 16:00 óra. Helyszín: ELTE BTK F épület (a Gólyavár után), 217-es terem.

Kapható Szent Alfonznak, a kiváló tudósnak és lelki írónak a Szűz Mária dicsőségei (Le Glorie di Maria) című könyve! A mű 1750-ben jelent meg először, és a Salve Regina himnusz sorait elemezte. Az egyházatyáktól kezdve a legjelentősebb szerzőkön keresztül mutatott rá arra, hogy mit jelent valójában és miként volt jelen évszázadokon keresztül a tiszta Szűzanya-tisztelet az Egyház életében.

✨Agape✨
Today, after the 10 AM Mass, we will hold our usual first Sunday Agape. It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and share our summer experiences with one another. Everyone is warmly welcome to our community hall—let us begin the autumn season together!
✨Agape Service✨
The Agape team is inviting everyone to take part in another opportunity to serve our community. There are two ways in which you can help, and we are deeply grateful for both:
1. We are looking for volunteers. You can express your interest in joining after Mass by speaking to one of the Agape organisers, or by sending an email to [email protected]. On the first Sunday of every month, we arrive one hour before the beginning of Mass (normally at 9 AM) to prepare sandwiches and get everything ready. After the Agape, we also help with tidying up. In the meantime, we have the opportunity to talk, get to know one another, and build friendships.
2. We are collecting donations. At every Agape, we place a container or donation box where contributions can be made. We gratefully accept every donation, as the Agape is sustained entirely through the financial contributions of the faithful. We sincerely thank you for all the donations we have received so far and for those we will receive in the future. We are also grateful for donations other than money. It is always a special joy when members of our community bring cakes, drinks, or other food and beverages to share.The purpose of the Agape is to create a space and an opportunity for building our community. It is much easier to strike up a conversation over a slice of cake with long-standing members seeking connection, or with newcomers who have just joined us. Ever since the first agape was held, we have continually experienced the blessed fruits of everyone’s hard work, attentiveness, and mutual care. We are deeply grateful to our dear congregation for this!
✨Pilgrimage✨
This week, we will set off on our previously announced pilgrimage to Italy, visiting Padre Pio and Mount Gargano, where Saint Michael the Archangel appeared. We offer this pilgrimage in thanksgiving on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of our community’s first Holy Mass, which we will celebrate on November 15, the Day of the Church, and we also entrust to God the continued preservation and growth of our community. We kindly ask all our brothers and sisters to join us in prayer for these intentions.
✨Adult Catechesis✨
Adult catechesis will resume in the autumn. We warmly welcome anyone who would like to receive the Sacraments of Christian Initiation as an adult, or who wishes to grow in their faith and deepen their knowledge of the Church! The date and time of the sessions will be arranged in consultation with those interested. If you would like to take part, please sign up with Father Gellért in the sacristy after Mass.
✨Children’s Catechesis✨
With the beginning of the new school year, our children’s catechesis in hungarian will also be starting again. We will arrange the time in consultation with those interested. If you would like your child to join a friendly catechetical group where they can grow in faith and learn about the teachings of the Church, please contact Betti Ambrus, our catechist, after Mass in the sacristy or at [email protected]. If a child who does not speak Hungarian fluently would like to join, they are also very warmly welcome!
✨Everyone’s Birthday – Pro-Life Walk✨
On September 12, the annual pro-life walk, “Everyone’s Birthday”, will once again take place. Participants will set off at 10 AM from Széchenyi István Square, followed by a variety of programmes in the Tabán throughout the early afternoon. As Christians, it is our duty to stand up for human dignity and the lives of unborn children, and this event provides an excellent opportunity to do so. We therefore warmly encourage the members of our church community to join us!

✨Hétkápolna Pilgrimage Feast✨
This year, the Hétkápolna Pilgrimage Feast in Vác will once again take place. As part of the celebrations, on Sunday, 13 September, at 5 PM, the Most Reverend Dr Lajos Varga, retired Auxiliary Bishop of Vác, will celebrate a Pontifical Low Mass according to the traditional Roman Rite. ✨Feast of St. Michael✨
This year, our church’s patronal feast will once again be celebrated with a Holy Mass on the feast day itself, September 29. The celebrations will continue during the weekend of October 3–4 with a vigil and a Pontifical Mass. Further details will be announced soon!
✨Autumn Ecclesiastical Latin Courses at ELTE✨
For those interested in the mother tongue of the Roman Catholic Church and wishing either to become acquainted with it or to deepen their existing knowledge, we would like to recommend two free hungarian opportunities available during the autumn semester at ELTE’s Faculty of Humanities, on the Múzeum Boulevard campus:
1. For complete beginners – an intensive introductory course: Miklós Földváry will lead an intensive introductory course in Ecclesiastical Latin. Time: Thursdays at 4 PM. First session: 10 September Venue: ELTE Faculty of Humanities, R Building (5 Rákóczi Road), 1st floor, Room 122.
2. For more advanced students – a Bible reading seminar: Those who already have a basic or more advanced knowledge of Latin are warmly invited to join Benjámin Varga’s seminar. During the semester, we will read the Second Book of Samuel in the Latin Vulgate, exploring such fascinating and dramatic stories as the relationship between King David and Bathsheba, and Absalom’s tragically doomed rebellion. Time: Thursdays at 4 PM. Venue: ELTE Faculty of Humanities, F Building (after the Gólyavár), Room 217.

After Holy Masses at the church there is an opportunity to purchase books. The Latin–Hungarian Missal, as well as theological, spiritual, and liturgical books, are available.
