✨ The moment the light enters… everything changes

At the end of Mass in St. Stephen's Basilica, the sun breaks through — a quiet reminder:

God still shows up.

As the weekend fades and the city slows…
the invitation doesn’t end.

Just like Lazarus was called into life…
maybe today, you are too.

If you’ve been searching, tired, or just curious —come.

Today we celebrate something truly beautiful:
10 years of faithful benefactors who have quietly sustained the English-speaking Catholic community in Budapest. 🙏
Because of your generosity, voices have risen in prayer, strangers have become family, and the Gospel has been proclaimed in a home away from home.
And today’s Gospel… Lazarus (John 11)
A reminder that God brings life where we see endings.
“Lazarus, come out!”
— a call not only from the tomb… but into a fuller life.
Just as Lazarus was called into light, this community has been called into hope, unity, and mission over the past decade.

One more day to go! We are very excited to see you all tomorrow at 14:30 for our annual Christmas and Anniversary concert 🤩. We will be celebrating our 9th anniversary as a community, so bring a friend and let us come together to sing praises to the Lord, thanking Him for another blessed year together.
▪️Enter through the Mary's chapel entrance located on the north side of the church. Turn right once through the door, to enter into the main church where the concert will be held.
▪️Thanksgiving Mass will follow after the concert, from the usual 16:00 time.
▪️We will have an agape after the Mass. It will be a potluck, so we can all bring some food and share together to celebrate further.
Looking forward to tomorrow, we are excited to bring you some new songs to celebrate with. Until then, have a blessed day ahead ✨
