Hi everyone! This week we have several exciting things happening in our DUS community:

A group of college students from Bekah's home church in America is here and they’re excited to meet and spend time with you all! :D

Wed, May 13th 10-12PM PRAYER WALK
Meet at Kossuth Lajos M2 stop (above ground entrance to the metro)

Join us for a prayer walk around the city tomorrow. We will go to a few major spots in the city and pray for the people of Budapest and Hungary and some universities.

Thursday, May 14th - FIELD DAY ⚽️🥏🏅
Our usual Thursday night from 6:45-9:00 but we’ll be meeting in Bikas Park and playing silly competitive games outside! We’ll also have BBQ from Smokey Monkies 🥩🍖🍔

Sunday, May 17th - BAPTISM AFTER CHURCH
Join us after church for a picnic lunch and hang at Kopaszi-gát: https://maps.app.goo.gl/mMGSW1qgseS6n26j7
Then at 15:00 we’re having a baptism for Mark and Dina!
- We will all go together from church but feel free to meet us there yourself.
- Pack a lunch and a blanket or towel for a picnic
- Pack a swimsuit for water sports

Join us this week for part II. of our series exploring how the Old Testament relates to Christ. The New Testament is obviously all about him. Is the Old Testament about him too? How does this answer impact the way we read our Bibles, particularly the stories, promises, and prophecies in its first 39 books? Join us as we answer these questions and seek to deepen our knowledge and love of God!

They will be sharing about the transition from university to working, applying and getting a job in Hungary, and also how their apply the gospel and their walk with God to their work. Spring 26’ DUS Hike

We are heading to Rám Gorge this weekend for our spring DUS hike, come join us!🌞

What to bring:
+ Public transport pass
+ Pack your own lunch / snacks
+ Hat
+ Sunscreen
+ First aid things
+ WATER
+ Walking shoes
+ A good attitude!

🕗 Schedule:
8:20 am - meet Városkapu
8:35 am - hop on the bus towards Dömös
➡️ do ~10km hike, including waterfalls, some rock climbing and water crossings
➡️ planning to catch a bus back to Budapest, arriving back before 5 pm
