International School of Theology

I would like to extend an invitation to you to join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM for a study on Growing In Faith. During these sessions, we will explore different ways to help our faith grow. Our physical location is at 131 N. Broad St., Lexington, TN. However, if it is not feasible for you to attend in person, you can join us online via Facebook or YouTube.

Romans 10:17 says, "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ."

On Sundays, we have Bible class at 9:00 AM. We offer classes for people of all ages. At 10:00 AM, our worship service commences with a capella singing, reading God's word, prayer, the Lord's supper, and preaching. The topic for Sunday is Growing in Christ, and on Sunday evening, we will focus our thoughts on Letting Our Light Shine.

We are so proud of our students who work hard for three years to graduate from the International School of Theology. The impact they will have on the spread of the gospel will be great. Their dedication to their studies, their trust in God, and their steadfastness to the word of God will translate into the souls being saved. Thank you, men and ladies, who have prepared yourselves for the work of the kingdom.

Please pray for the people in Haiti. Over the last few days there have been many demonstrations, burning of tires and shootings. Motorcycle gangs are traveling into communities and people are afraid to go outside; One brother in Christ, said he has not left his home in four days. There are many Christians throughout Haiti and many who may not be able to travel for worship this morning. Pray for peace.

The work is progressing well at IST. We have entered into the second half of the first year of studies. The students are making great sacrifices to be here. The students receive little to no money and depend on family for help.

We are always in need of support to help he students and if you would like to help please send your donation to the Church of Christ , 131 N. Broad St. Lexington, TN. 38351

During the Christmas break the students conducted campaigns in three different areas. As brother Evands said, "there is a unity and cooperation that has not been so present in the past. The preacher -students- are really getting to know each other. I am so very proud of he all and feel honored to work with them.

This is the first post for the IST page. Please share this page with your friends so others will know of the activities taking place at the International School of Theology in Haiti. I will be be going to Haiti soon and will give you an update on the activities. Please keep the teachers and students in your prayers.
