Ambassadors of Jesus Children's Home To this day it continues the work of saving lives. My name is Lucien Almanord. I was born and raised in Haiti. I also attended seminary
during this time. Rev.

Founded and established by Pastor Lucien Almanord in 1982 This organization has help to house, cloth, and educate more than 90 Children in need across the country to ensure a better future for them. At the age of
ten I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and was baptized. The night after my salvation I
began preaching the Gospel in his name where i also received the Holy Ghost, walking fr

om house to house on Sunday evening
with an old oil lamp, to hold evening services wherever I was welcome. Many
young and old came to the Lord and were baptized in Jesus' Name. I went into the Haitian Navy at the age of 18 and worked closely with
American Navy personnel, where I learned English. After fulfilling my military service, I was hired as a translator for
missionaries. It didn't take long before the Lord's call came to be an
evangelist. Then I returned to the streets of Haiti, walking around the
country holding revivals and leading countless people to Christ. One day I went to a voodoo priest and asked to use his yard to hold a revival
and more than 50 people, including the voodoo priest, were saved. This is
where I started my first church. One day ten orphaned children came to me and begged me to take them in. They lived in fear because children were being used as human sacrifices in
voodoo rituals. Even though I lived in a single room mud hut, I could not
refuse these children. I began to care for them and brought them to Port au-
Prince (the city.) Some days they had nothing to eat but at least they
were together and not on the streets. For over 25 years we have been running this ministry. Many hundreds of
children have been raised and have gone through the orphanage with very little
in funds but with a tremendous amount of faith. Listed below are some of the things that the Lord has accomplished thru this
ministry over the last 25 years:
1. Today we have 65 orphan children who live in the orphanage-boys and
girls from 2-12 years of age.
2. We have three primary schools that have been established for free, to
educate the children and to teach them the Word of God.
3. Twenty-five churches have been established all around the villages of
Haiti.
4. We recently have established a ministry for Haitian refugees in the
Dominican Republic. We have five churches and two schools there, as
