Student Spotlight: Meet Lambert
Each day, Lambert's eyes drifted toward the school near his home as he watched other children his age attend school. For him, attending school felt like an impossible dream. His parents worked tirelessly to make ends meet. However, school was a luxury they could not afford. But, because of the generosity of our PCMP supporters, Lambert's school expenses were covered, giving him the opportunity to learn, grow, and cultivate his hope for a brighter future. At school, he was surrounded by caring and supportive teachers who guided and encouraged him. Today, we proudly celebrate his accomplishment as a member of the graduating class of 2025. Pictured, you will see Lambert with his mother celebrating his high school graduation.

"People call me Cado. I was born into a family that had no relationship with God. My family often took me to witch doctors for good luck, protection and healing. My parents’ culture, beliefs, and religion were passed down to me. At the age of 20, I become a witch doctor myself. During the many years that I practiced voodoo, many people died in my hands because I was pretending that I could heal their sickness. Thanks be to God; He changed my life! I am no longer a liar pretending I can heal people or cursing people - I want to be for God for the rest of my life. I want the same voice who talked to me to talk to my family and change their hearts. I am currently attending Philadelphia Church, and I am eager to learn more about Jesus. Please keep me in your prayers!"

**Cado is currently being discipled by Pastor Jude and the believers in the Philadelphia Christian Church. He renounced his voodoo practices by burning his possessions associated with his voodoo lifestyle in the streets of Fontaine**

**SCHOOL UPDATE**
Despite ongoing security, economic, and food crises in Haiti our teachers and staff completed the 2023-2024 academic year strong. Classes began on October 7, and we are pleased to report that 345 students are registered. Additionally, we have a dedicated team of 60 teachers staff, and employees

Food Relief for Haiti UPDATE: THANK YOU!

Your contributions have enabled our local staff and ministry leaders in Haiti to
identify and assist those facing extreme hardship and provide food to families in urgent need.
Your response is making a direct and meaningful impact as it allows us to offer hope and
encouragement to our brothers and sisters in need.

The first distributions of food began around 03/30/2024 in Fontaine and around the mission house in Lacoste, Pignon, including a local orphanage caring for about 35 children. During our first distribution in those 3 locations, we were able to serve food to 172 families, including the orphanage.

Daphne's Story:

Daphne was born into a family where her parents believed in different things. Daphne would often hear her parents arguing about the validity of Christianity. For Daphne, the constant arguments between her parents left her disillusioned about Christianity and led her to believe that church only caused tension. She slowly began to distance herself from both the church and God. In her late twenties, her father completely abandoned his faith in God and started practicing Voodoo.

Daphne eventually chose to live with her boyfriend and together they started a family. Due to the increasing financial need, Daphne's boyfriend had to travel long distances to find work. This left Daphne alone for long periods of time to raise their children. Alone and overwhelmed, with limited resources and support, Daphne's life was extremely difficult.

In October 2023, an empathetic aunt invited her to visit Philadelphia Church. While visiting church that Sunday morning, she heard the pastor speak on the exact troubles of her life. Daphne became interested in what it meant to be a disciple of Christ and was motivated to learn more. At the end of the sermon, the pastor invited non-believers to accept Christ. Without even thinking, Daphne rose to her feet and walked to the podium where she decided to follow the Lord. The Lord also moved in her children's hearts and all 3 of her children became saved

AN URGENT APPEAL TO HELP US PROVIDE LIFE SAVING SUPPORT TO OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN HAITI WHO DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP AT THIS CRITICAL TIME

Hunger in Haiti is a daily struggle for many people as they wonder where their next meal will come from. The current political and security crisis in Haiti is turning into a humanitarian emergency as 5 million people, or over 1/2 of the country are facing acute food insecurity. Immediate assistance is essential and is a lifeline for those struggling to survive.

The Board of PCMP is asking for your help to provide food to be distributed to our brothers and sisters in the Fontaine community who are in desperate need and calling for help. Your donation will directly fund the purchase of essential food items such as rice, beans, pasta, oil, and bouillon. Through the Philadelphia Christina Church in Fontaine, these provisions will be delivered to those who are in critical need in the community.

Let us be the hands and feet of Jesus and together we can bring hope and relief to many who are suffering. Will you give generously to our brothers and sisters in Haiti who are suffering daily from hunger and bring them hope and encouragement in their time of desperate need?
