Mission Eglise de Jesus Christ par la Foi is a church located in Miragoane, Haiti. We serve a community in a remote area called Desmarreaux.

Our mission is to preach the gospel of grace of Jesus Christ to those for whom He gave His life.

A donor recently blessed the church and this gift was such a great blessing to the children and their parents. The church has a club of 50 children. The pastor organized an event that brought the children together to sing, dance, eat some food 🥘, and receive some school supplies (such as backpacks, notebook, pen/pencil, eraser, etc.) and they learned more about God’s word of course. Parents were the spectators. The parents expressed tremendous gratitude especially for the school supplies during the back the school season.
The church is thankful for this donor for believing in educating the children and for giving toward that effort.

Quelqu’un a recemment fait un don à l'église et ce don a été une si grande bénédiction pour les enfants et leurs parents. L'église a un club de 50 enfants. Le pasteur Roberson Francois a organisé un événement qui a réuni les enfants pour chanter, danser, manger de la nourriture 🥘 et recevoir des fournitures scolaires (comme des sacs à dos, cahier, stylo / crayon, gomme à effacer, etc.) et ils ont aussi appris davantage sur la parole de Dieu. Les parents étaient les spectateurs. Les parents ont exprimé leur immense gratitude en particulier pour les fournitures scolaires pendant la rentrée des classes.
L'église est reconnaissante à ce donneur de croire en l'éducation des enfants et de contribuer a cet effort.

This year everyone in the world 🌍 had to change their plans, adapt to a new life style, shift their focus from one thing to another. This has been true for the church as well. When the COVID virus first arrived in Haiti 🇭🇹, the president issued a stay-at-home order. Unlike many countries, there was no government support provided to the less fortunate. In order to help the people in the community and church members who were already struggling to put food on their table, we had to stop 🛑 the church construction project. Here are some pictures of what we were able to do by the grace of the Lord.

Cette année, tout le monde 🌍 a changé leur plans, s’est adapté à un nouveau style de vie, et on changé de focus d'une chose à l'autre. Cela a également été vrai pour l'église. Lorsque le virus COVID est arrivé pour la première fois en Haïti 🇭🇹, le président a émis un ordre a tout le people de rester à la maison. Contrairement à de nombreux pays, aucun soutien gouvernemental n'a été fourni aux moins fortunés. Afin d'aider les gens de la communauté et les membres de l'église qui luttaient déjà pour mettre de la nourriture sur leur table, nous avons dû arrêter 🛑 le projet de construction de l'église. Voici quelques images de ce que nous avons pu faire par la grâce du Seigneur.

The rain season is causing some trouble to the church. The water sits in the middle of the church and has to be pushed out with a broom 🧹 before the Sunday service. But the people still show up to worship the Lord. I love it!

What was left of the church/school after a hurricane hit. We have to start rebuilding because the community needs the church and the kids need the school. We pray that the Lord will provide.
