A team representing Families on Mission International is here with us at CCR this week. They wasted no time finding ways to serve & we’re all having a ton of fun in the process!

This week has been filled with ups and downs, joy and sadness. As much as we love to celebrate the joy and hope of the Christmas season it can often be coupled with stark reminders of why we have such a need for the hope and salvation we find in Jesus. As we came together with both Cornerstone Christian Academy and our Cornerstone Christian Ranch families to close out the year in celebration, we also came together to mourn the loss of a CCA teacher, Angie who is the spouse of Santiago for those more familiar with the ranch. In all things, whether in joy or pain, we praise God for the salvation and hope He brings for life eternal to those who put their faith and hope in Jesus. Thank you to all those who helped financially to provide a burial plot and associated funeral expenses. Please continue to keep Ms. Angie's family in your prayers.

Such a great day!

Yesterday we hosted about 100 people for a Missionary Kids Meet up. We enjoyed one another's company, lots of great food, hay rides, archery classes and lessons in cheese making and how we milk the cows. It's such a blessing for these kids to spend time with other 3rd culture kids so much so that they will drive several hours to do so. It blessed us to host them.

The ABC's of faith....

A - Admit (Acknowledge) :It's about honestly acknowledging that you're a sinner, that everyone has sinned and is separated from God, and that the result of sin is death.
B - Believe:It is believing from the heart that God sent Jesus to die on the cross for your sins, that He rose again, and is coming again. This faith gives you eternal life and makes you a child of God.
C - Confess: confessing with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and that God raised him from the dead. This also includes repentance, which is a change of mindset and a decision to turn away from sin to follow Jesus of the Bible.

In celebration of Children's Day later this week, we celebrated with a movie night complete with plenty of popcorn and candy!

Another great week with our friends from Families on Mission as they came to share of their time and talents to help Cornerstone Christian Academy HN get off to a great start tomorrow. They cleaned, repaired, decorated, encouraged and supported the teachers and staff at CCA.

Our Bible conference team from Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Winston Salem finished out with church this morning. A beautiful morning of worship, digging into God's grace, and praising Him for His mercy. We look forward to the promise of Christ's return and seek to share the Gospel with those in need of hope.

Day 1 of our first CCR conference, Israel, The Church and God's Promises. What a blessing to have our Bible's open digging deeper despite the heat and lack of electricity God does not change, His promises are true. Despite our circumstances He is faithful to His Word. Thank you to the amazing team from Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Winston Salem . Pray for tomorrow as we do it again 9:00-4:00! And again a special service on Sunday.
