Last full day in Honduras. Jane, Bill, and Tyler went on a hike in Danli up a steep incline to the cross. Then we drove to Tegucigalpa and went to the Christ statue and the the Valley of the Angels. We are excited to be coming home but sad to be leaving.

Today was the last day of work in Danli.

In the AM - Brad, Bill, and Tyler worked at the church. They did more tile work by sifting sand, cleaning tiles, and moving everything up the stairs. (Bill also found out that he could lift massive concrete bags up the stairs!) Meanwhile, Pat, Nikki, and Jane handed out the rest of the water filters.

In the PM - the whole team danced on clay clumps to crush them down for floor cement, and then went to El Pescadero to finish up Vacation Bible School. It has been a FULL day.

Tomorrow - Bill, Jane, Brad and Tyler will hike up a mountain around 6am (while Pat and Nikki sleep in, grab coffee, and leisurely pack) and then the team will head back to Tegucigalpa by noon.

Day 4

Completed 9 water filters, sifted 7 bags of sand, and 65 niños at VBS. Every one a little tried somewhat because of the heat (91) and being outside all day. We made puppets in VBS. The tile in the church is coming along. Originally it was to take 3 weeks but because of the teams' help they will be done next Wednesday (8 days).

Day 2 of missions work! Tyler and Brad were at Danli Central UMC doing tile work - sifting sand, cleaning tiles, and moving 90lb cement bags up a full flight of stairs. Nikki, Bill, Jane, and Pat spent the day at La Carbonera. In the AM, they distributed and trained 10 families how to use their new water filters. In the PM, they led a Vacation Bible School at the community's school. We are getting ready for another day of work tomorrow! - Ty
