Soul SAVED 🙌

He came from an internet search, looked up the church, and showed up to our Easter service with a heart ready to shake things up for once. Unbeknownst to him, God was already preparing brothers to study the Bible with him. Through more Scripture, more prayer, and more wrestling than he expected, he began to understand that God has a plan for him.

After months of sacrifice and surrender, last Sunday — he made Jesus Lord of his life and got baptized.

Welcome to the kingdom, brother. We’re so excited for your new life with God.

他從網上搜尋開始，查找到教會，並帶着一顆準備改變現狀的心，出席我們的復活節主日崇拜。當時他並不知道，神早已預備好弟兄們與他一同查考聖經。經過研讀更多經文、更多的禱告，以及比他預期更多的挑戰，他漸漸明白，神對他自有一個計劃。

經過數月的犧牲與降服，上週日 — 他讓耶穌成為生命的主，並接受了洗禮。

THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE ✨

Love starts with truth. Without it, even trust can’t form.

Matthew warns: hiding where we really are deceives others—and ourselves (1 John 1:8-10). Relationships rot. But walking in Jesus, the true light, sets us free.

In her communion, Ines vulnerably shared this: her past of popularity and accomplishments without God was a ticking time bomb. She wanted to be the light, but Jesus was the light—eternal, healing her broken soul. Now she walks in hope and forgiveness (1 John 1:7-10).

SUNDAY SERVICE 💐

Psalms 130:3-4: If You, Lord, kept a record of sins, who could stand? But with You there is forgiveness, so we can serve You in reverence.

Struggling to forgive? It’s often because we’ve lost sight of our own massive debt before God—completely forgiven. Compared to what others have done to us… are we really right to hold it against them? “Forgiven people, can forgive people.”

Time to face your rage.

Anger is a God-given emotion, rooted in His righteousness. Yet when we act on our own accord, anger leads us into folly. Unlike us, God is slow to anger and responds with forgiveness to all sins (Psalms 103:6-12). We overcome our rage by looking to Him, who shows love even in His anger.

FAMILY! 📖🙌

The Kingdom of God is a place of learning to love in the way that lasts. “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34), must be the standard of love that we strive to have as a church.

Matthew preaches with conviction in our midweek service, the biblical standard of love, a standard that lasts for eternity. To fight to be the best for each others, we are not to love alone. Are you searching to love, or to be loved? DM us to study the Bible!

What does it mean to follow Jesus📖?

Our sister Jess shares vulnerably what the cross means to her at this point of her life. As one of our starting missionaries here in Hong Kong, she shares deeply that it takes deep-conviction of the scriptures to build God’s kingdom. Though one can gain so much with following Jesus, we will still lack if we are not willing to give up everything (Luke 18:22).

The truth about Discipleship and the true cost was preached by Matthew. Are you a Disciple of Christ, or an acquaintance with a price? What are you called to be?
