Community Church Hong Kong

Community Church Hong Kong We are an international and English speaking community of faith, located in the heart of Hong Kong. All are welcome!

We are located in the heart of Hong Kong, only 1 minute from the Sheung Wan MTR, 3 minutes from the mid-levels escalators and 5 to 10 minutes’ walk from the Central or Macau Ferry Terminals. We seek to follow Christ’s words to ‘go and make disciples of all nations’. Our hope is that in being changed through worship and community, we can bring change into our world – especially our everyday ‘worlds

’. Our desire is to love God and others through Jesus Christ with the Bible as our guide. We have ministries for children, youth, young adults, families and are particularly excited about our global and local service opportunities. Hopefully this site will help you find out more about who we are. If you are visiting Hong Kong or living here and looking for a church, we would love for you to join us.

Christ's sacrifice wasn't just a moment in history—it's the hinge upon which our entire story turns. Where we see endings, He brings new beginnings; and where we encounter defeat, He transforms it into victory.

The Lamb who was slain didn't just bear our burdens; He completed the story we could never finish on our own. His suffering became our path to freedom and His victory our hope. His steps became our invitation to walk in purpose and love.

Today, we have been called to follow in those steps—not because the journey is easy, but because the One who leads has already conquered death. Every broken narrative, every valley of despair, every moment of darkness finds its completion in Him.

The story isn't over. In Christ, it's just beginning.

Have you ever wondered what sits at the centre of it all? In Revelation, we’re given a glimpse of heaven—where everything revolves around the throne of God. Worship isn’t forced; it overflows. “You are worthy… for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” (Rev 4:11)

This Sunday, we’re exploring how Jesus completes the story—not just the story of the world, but your story too. When He is at the centre, everything begins to make sense: our purpose, our identity, our hope.

The throne isn’t distant. It’s an invitation—to re-centre our lives around the One who is truly worthy. Join us as we fix our eyes on Jesus, the One who holds it all together.

When we hear that no weapon forged against us will prevail (Isaiah 54:17), it doesn’t mean life won’t be hard. Indeed, it doesn’t mean we won’t face opposition, doubt, or seasons that feel like they’re unravelling. However, it does mean this: the story doesn’t end there.

Jesus is the First and the Last—the One who was there at the beginning, and the One who holds the final word. What feels unfinished, broken, or uncertain in your life is not beyond His reach. In Him, every chapter finds its meaning, and every ending is held in hope. This Sunday, we’re leaning into the truth that Jesus completes the story. Not with fear, but with victory. Not with despair, but with redemption.

Come and be reminded: what stands against us will not outlast the One who stands for us at 9:30 and 11:30. If you are unable to make it in person, check our online resources at https://bit.ly/cc-links

In a world that celebrates constant movement, Jesus invites us into something different: a rhythm of rest. Not a life of doing more, but a life of abiding more. We are not meant to strive our way into fruitfulness. Like branches connected to the vine, our role is to stay, to remain, and to receive. From that place of rest, life begins to flow.

This week, we’re leaning into “Rhythms of Rest”—rediscovering what it means to slow down, stay rooted in Christ, and trust that He is at work in us.

What might it look like for you to pause, breathe, and remain in Him today?

Love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a story; and Jesus completes it. “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us…” (1 John 3:16) At the cross, love is no longer abstract or distant. It becomes real, sacrificial, and deeply personal. Jesus shows us that love gives, serves, and lays itself down for others.

And then He invites us into that same story: to love not just in words, but in action—towards our brothers and sisters, our neighbours, even those we find difficult.

This is the command of love. This is the life we’re called into.

Sometimes we keep count—of wrongs, of hurts, of how many chances someone deserves. Peter did the same, asking Jesus if seven times was enough. But Jesus points us somewhere deeper: not just to more forgiveness, but to a completely different way of living. A way shaped by grace that doesn’t run out.

In Him, the story is completed—not with limits, but with a sacrifice that covers the whole world. The forgiveness we receive becomes the forgiveness we extend. What might it look like for us to live out that kind of limitless grace today?

Jesus is the Word of Life who completes the story—not just around us, but within us. When we stay connected to Him, the true vine, our lives bear fruit that lasts. It’s in abiding with Christ that our stories find meaning, purpose, and joy.

“I am the vine; you are the branches…” (John 15:5) reminds us that we’re never meant to grow alone. Let’s remain in Him and let His life flow through ours.

There’s something deeply powerful about a single touch. In a crowded moment, one woman reaches out in quiet faith—no words, no attention, just hope. And Jesus meets her there. Not only with healing, but with something even deeper: He calls her daughter, restoring her identity, dignity, and peace.“Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” — Luke 8:48

This is the heart of our God—one who notices, who welcomes, and who restores. No matter how small or hesitant your step of faith may feel, His grace is ready to meet you.

May we be people who reach out—and people who reflect that same healing touch to others this week as we hear from Dr. David Emmanuel Goatley, President of Fuller Seminary, this Sunday at 9:30 and 11:30. If you are unable to make it, check our online resources at https://bit.ly/cc-links
