【Pentecost · Parish Activities’ Review】

Together at Pentecost, we celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit. Guided by the Spirit, our parishes continue to live out their faith through a beautiful tapestry of community life 🎉—from Mother's Day floral and parent-child building block workshops, to visiting the homeless and sick children, embarking on holy pilgrimages, hosting microfilm screenings, serving meals to the elderly, and engaging in social outreach. Through prayer, charity, and gratitude, we truly bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. ✨

📸 We have curated a selection of photos to share the vibrant faith and passion of our communities!
🔥 We invite you to share this post, spreading this joy and communion far and wide.
❤️ Please feel free to leave a comment and share your own cherished stories of journeying alongside the diocese~

< We praise the Lord in prayer together > Episode 3

Pope’s Prayer Intention for May 2026 – That everyone might have food + 頌恩 #448 《天上神聖食糧》+ Rev. Francis Xavier Wong

< We praise the Lord in prayer together>, a spiritual programme initiated on in 2026. Each episode features a hymn from《頌恩》collection that relates to the theme of the Pope’s monthly prayer intention, with a priest or religious sister leading us in prayer from their spiritual perspective, as we join together in praising the Lord

Rev. Francis Xavier Wong sighed that, whilst technological advancements have greatly improved human life, the problems of poverty and hunger continue to plague us, and we must face up to them; Rev.Wong also shared a moving example with us, along with the Pope’s Prayer Intention for May.

On 3 May 2026, more than 300 young people from across Asia gathered at St. Benedict’s Church for the Taizé Meeting for Asian Youth Hong Kong. During the gathering, through the prayers and cultural exchange, we sang, stayed in silence, and shared our stories — crossing languages and borders, and lighting a quiet flame of hope in one another.

May we go out as “Messengers of Hope”, carrying this unity and light wherever we go. 🌿

Thank you to everyone who walked with us. 🙏
