English - The year 2020 is a turbulent one. Across the continents, the coronavirus ravages the world and many are either under strict lockdown protocols or following social distancing measures. However, we at the Brothers of Christians Schools have not given up. As Lasallians, we are thankful towards the selfless sacrifice of medical personnel around the world. Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee was written by Henry Van D**e, set to Ludwig van Beethoven's symphony number 9 and was widely regarded as one of the most joyous hymns ever written. We hope that in times of despair, everyone around the world can remain joyful.

À travers les continents, le coronavirus ravage le monde et beaucoup sont soumis à des protocoles de verrouillage stricts ou à des mesures de distanciation sociale. Cependant, nous, les Frères des Écoles Chrétiennes, n'avons pas abandonné l'esprit de vivre. En tant que lasalliens, nous sommes reconnaissants envers le sacrifice désintéressé du personnel médical du monde entier. Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee a été écrit par Henry Van D**e, sur la symphonie 9 de Ludwig van Beethoven et était largement considéré comme l'un des hymnes les plus joyeux jamais écrits. Nous espérons qu'en temps de désespoir, tout le monde dans le monde pourra rester joyeux.
中文 - 二零二零年，是風雨飄搖的一年。瘟疫肆意蹂躪世界各地，來自世界各地的人民都因封城令與社交距離政策而與世隔絕。可是，喇沙修士會的同仁並不會就此袖手旁觀。身為喇沙會的弟兄姊妹，我們衷心感謝醫護人員在這次疫情中的無私奉獻。Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee 一曲由 Henry van D**e填詞，旋律取至貝多芬的第九交響曲「合唱」，本曲廣獲評為最鼓舞人心的聖詠之一。我們祈望身邊的每一位都能在絕望的世代，尋覓心中的喜樂。

En todos los continentes, el coronavirus está asolando el mundo y muchos países están con estrictos protocolos de cierre o siguiendo medidas de distancia social. Sin embargo, nosotros, Hermanos de las Escuelas Cristianas, no nos hemos rendido. Como Lasalianos, estamos agradecidos por el sacrificio desinteresado del personal médico en todo el mundo. Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee, escrita por Henry Van D**e, puesta a la sinfonía número 9 de Ludwig van Beethoven, fue considerada como uno de los himnos más alegres que han sido escritos. Esperamos que en estos momentos difíciles, todos en todo el mundo puedan permanecer alegres.
