Kowloon International Baptist Church (KIBC) is an English-speaking church, located in Kowloon Tong, with English-language services every Sunday. We have ministries and activities throughout the week to involve every member of your family. If you are looking for a church to visit, or if you are looking for a new church home, we hope that you will come and see us at KIBC! We are currently in a phase

of reconstruction on our property at 300 Junction Road. During this time, our church family has relocated to Australian International School Hong Kong (Kowloon Tong) for Sunday morning worship services and Bible studies. Our church offices and KBC Kindergarten have relocated to Bethel Bible Seminary (Kowloon City). (Translation in Cantonese available in the 11am service.) Thank you, Tanners, for ten years of faithful leadership, loving service, and steadfast commitment to God's calling! We are grateful for the ways you invest in our church family and thankful that God brought you to KIBC.

In Colossians 2, we see three ways people often try to replace Jesus: rules (legalism), experiences (mysticism), or extremes (asceticism). But the truth is, real spiritual growth isn’t found in any of those things. It’s found in Jesus Christ alone!

➡️ Legalism is when faith becomes mostly about keeping rules and trying to earn God’s approval by what we do.
➡️ Mysticism is when the focus shifts to chasing spiritual feelings, experiences, or “signs” instead of simply trusting and knowing God.
➡️ Asceticism is when people think they get closer to God by punishing themselves, avoiding the good things God gives, or living in extreme self-denial, as if that makes them holy.
