To commemorate the 150th anniversary of Lasallian Movement in Hong Kong, we hosted the "Camino de La Salle" walk on 20 December, 2025 (Sunday), retracing the footsteps of the Lasallian Brothers 150 years ago.

Starting from St. Joseph's College, across Victoria Harbour and through historic sites, as well as Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College and La Salle Primary School, ending at La Salle College – it was a pilgrimage embodying Faith, Service, and Community.

A huge thank you to our chief guest, His Eminence Cardinal Stephen Chow, Bishop of Hong Kong, who led the opening prayer and joined 150 participants for part of the journey. Brother Dennis Magbanua FSC, head of the sponsoring body, kicked off the event with a group photo and ceremony.

We have also launched the virtual "Camino de La Salle" from 20 December 2025, running until April 30, 2026! Narrated by alumni John Tsang and Sammy Leung, plus students from our eight schools – sign up at https://lasalle852.com to explore our rich history anytime. Complete 14 checkpoints for a special memento!

From our first school in 1875 to serving over 10,000 students across eight institutions on 20 December 2025, Hong Kong Lasallian Family will continue its education mission of touching hearts, teaching minds, and transforming lives in the spirit of St. John Baptist de La Salle.

Heartfelt gratitude to all participants for your energy and spirit, and to our amazing supporting partners: Scouts (1st HKG (Hong Kong Group), of SJC, 17th Kowloon, of LSC, and 205th Kowloon, of CSKC), Red Cross (Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Unit 17 of SJC and Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Unit 52 of CSKC), our Schools, and the Hong Kong Police Force – your dedication made this possible!

More photos are now available on an online album. Link at comment part.

Let’s pray for the victims of the tragic fire at Taipo🙏

The De La Salle Brothers in HK encourages the Lasallian Community to pray for the victims of the tragic fire at Taipo.

PRAYER FOR THE RESIDENTS OF WANG F*K COURT
On November 26, a five-alarm fire broke out in this housing estate. We implore the Lord to console all residents and faithful affected by this tragedy, and to grant eternal rest to those who have died.

PRAYER FOR THE WANG F*K COURT FIRE, TAIPO
Merciful Lord, we lift up to You the residents of Wang F*k Court in Tai Po, who have been afflicted by the disastrous fire.
We earnestly beg Your grace: show mercy to all who have died, and grant them eternal rest.
We implore You to heal the injured, that in their suffering they may find Your comfort.
We ask You to console all who have been displaced, that after their mourning they may rise again with renewed strength.
May the prayers of Mary, Mother of the Church, be carried to You on behalf of all her children. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, hear our prayer. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be to the Father

In commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Lasallian Mission in Hong Kong, the 150A Community Service Team, led by Dr Calvin Mak, organised the second Health Check Event on 29 October 2025 at De La Salle Secondary School, Sheung Shui.

The primary beneficiaries of this outreach were Filipino domestic workers who regularly take part in Tagpuan (Encounter) — a gathering held three times a year by the Brothers in collaboration with Filipino Lasallian alumni from various Lasallian schools in the Philippines. These alumni, now residing and working in Hong Kong, are active members of the One La Salle Hong Kong Alumni Association (OLSHKAA).

The event featured the following participation:

- 73 domestic helpers served
- 13 medical doctors and medical students
- 4 Hong Kong Lasallian Volunteers
- 7 Filipino Lasallian alumni
- 10 staff members and volunteers from North District Health Centre Express, operated by YWCA
- 5 members of the 150A Community Service Team

The success of the Health Check Event stands as a testament to the unity and compassion that Lasallians around the world share. Our service is an expression of faith and fraternity — a reminder that we serve best when we serve together as one community.

Special thanks to De La Salle Secondary School, New Territories (DLSNT), for kindly providing the campus venue.
