鮑思高神父創立慈幼會，也親自創立了母佑會和慈幼協進會。他以獨特的方式愛青年、幫助青年，感染了許多人亦以不同方式，為造福青少年而工作。今天，慈幼家庭包括 三十多個正式獲確認的組織，超過四十萬成員。這些組織分佈在世界各地。這些組織彼此共融，分享同一精神，以獨特的聖召延續鮑思高神父的使命。
