Meet our new Children and Families Ministries Lead, Rhona Grace R. Añada! 🎉

For more than 15 years, Rhona has served in church-based, multi-grade mission settings, teaching across five mission areas in the Philippines while also working as a teacher and online tutor. She serves as a Deaconess at United Methodist Church and has led as Chairperson of the Committee on Women’s Work and the Deaconess Relation Committees, facilitating seminars and supporting women’s ministries.

Rhona is also active in music ministry, with skills in piano, ukulele, choir conducting, and singing. 🎹🎶

In her own words:
“I seek to lead, develop, and inspire others while effectively managing the resources entrusted to me, remaining fully focused on the ministries God has placed in my care. I step into this new season with an unshakeable anchor, ready to pour my heart into this community and steward every life and resource with excellence.”

As we mark the start of the Global Week of Prayer 2026 (6–13 September), we invite you to the dedication of our newly decorated Prayer Rooms at MIC.

After our 11:00 AM service this Sunday, we will gather on the Ground Floor for the dedication.
Ps. Heather will then lead a group up to the 7th Floor to continue in prayer.

This refreshed space is set apart as a place of encounter, intercession, and rest in God’s presence.

All are welcome to join as we commit this room to the Lord’s use. 🙏🌍

During our recent Sunday service, Ps. Heather delivered a sermon on Matthew 16, centering on the question Jesus asked his disciples: “Who do you say I am?”

As part of the message, the congregation was invited to respond personally. They wrote their answers on colourful sticky notes; Healer, Friend, Father, Guide, etc. Later they were placed on a shared board.

What emerged was more than just words on paper. The collection of notes formed a vibrant mosaic, reflecting diverse experiences and voices united in one faith.
