Hear from another one of our most recent DTS graduates, Billy, who is from the USA. As a first-timer in Asia, he learned so much from doing a DTS in Hong Kong!

“DTS helped me grow in patience, understanding and really grew my love for other cultures. I learnt by experience that cultural norms vary and I had to be willing to learn those differences and be ok with making mistakes. I also learnt to not feel embarrassed when those mistakes came up but to see those moments as learning opportunities. Those moments really deepened my love for people of any culture and I feel more capable when it comes to cross cultural communication.”

「 DTS 幫助我在耐心和理解力上有了顯著的成長，也大大加深了我對其他文化的愛心。透過親身經歷，我明白不同文化擁有各自的規範，我需要願意主動學習這些差異，並接受自己可能會犯錯。我也學會在出錯時不要感到尷尬，而是把這些時刻視為寶貴的學習機會。這些經歷不僅加深了我對來自不同文化背景的人的愛，也讓我在跨文化溝通上變得更有自信和能力。」

Chreoney did his DBS in Papua New Guinea in 2024, helped pioneer DBS here last year, and again will staff the coming DBS in August! Hear from him how God impacted his life through the Discipleship Bible School!

“After the DTS, I thought l knew a lot about God and the Bible. I had no interest in doing the DBS until the Lord led me to it. My Bible school was a unique time where God revealed Himself more to me through reading His word. It gave me peace, hope, and a way out from my challenges. I encourage you to do DBS! It’s a special time to encounter God and His story with humanity!”

Chreoney於2024 年在巴布亞新幾內亞完成了他的門訓聖經學校（DBS），去年協助開拓本地課程，今年八月他將再次擔任DBS的同工！一起來聽聽他分享，神如何透過門訓聖經學校改變了他的生命！

「參加完門徒訓練學校(DTS)之後，我以為自己已經很認識神和聖經了。我本來對 DBS 沒有興趣，直到主親自帶領我去參加。讀聖經學校是一段特別的日子，透過閱讀祂的話語，神向我更多地顯現自己。祂賜給我平安、盼望，也為我指出了走出困境的道路。我衷心鼓勵大家來參加 DBS！這會是與神相遇的獨特時刻，並認識祂與全人類的故事。」

Such a blessed time serving at the Solomon’s Porch retreat this past weekend, where the kids learned more about prayer! Many of them had a blast playing games, engaging in the interactive teachings, worshipping God, building new and deeper friendships. It was such a fruitful time!

Praise God for all He is doing in the younger generation of Hong Kong and those that visited from elsewhere!

上週末，我們在 Solomon’s Porch 教會的退修營中服事小朋友，度過了充實又美好的時光。孩子們在營會裡更深地明白了禱告的力量與意義。他們一起唱詩敬拜神，遊戲時玩得非常開心，在互動教學課堂上也積極投入，不僅認識了許多新朋友，更建立了深厚的友誼。

感謝神在香港年輕一代和從外地前來參加的朋友身上所成就的一切！願一切榮耀與頌讚都歸給祂！

“Throughout my DTS, the Lord led me to understand my personal strengths more than ever before. Not only have I discovered public speaking and translation, but also used and developed them for the numerous speakers who taught in our school. I think it’s safe to say that while I have a knack for these skills, there is still plenty of room for improvement. These discoveries would not have come to light if I had not joined DTS!

God’s Word brings life, healing, and transformation, and we are excited to welcome you to explore the Bible with us this season! This year’s DBS theme comes from Ezekiel 47:9.

“There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this river flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows.”

In just a few months, the school will begin. This will truly be an adventure of going deeper together in a community!

上帝的話語能帶來生命、醫治與轉化，我們由衷期待與你一起，在這個季節深入探索聖經，經歷上帝活潑的道！今年 DBS 的主題源自 以西結書 47:9：

「那時，這河流過的地方，所有滋生的動物都可以存活。這水流到哪裡，哪裡就有許多魚；因為這河流到哪裡，海水就變淡，一切都可以存活。」
