🎄𝗬𝗪𝗔𝗠 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶: 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵🎄

On Saturday December 17, 2022 we joined the YWAM Shanti team for their annual Christmas celebration!

The day started with a blessed & fun time of playing games with the children, which was followed by a time of worship and sharing the real meaning of Christmas through a nativity skit! Each child was given a Christmas gift bag and some kids even took home some special gifts through a raffle 😍 We pray that the children continue to experience His love through the Shanti ministry and they remember that the greatest gift this Christmas is JESUS!

🎄 𝗬𝗪𝗔𝗠 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻: 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 🎄

This Christmas we got to partner with YWAM Hong Kong - Tuen Mun 屯門青年使命團 by sharing God's love at an elderly centre, supporting their Christmas program as translators, and visiting low income families in Tuen Mun.

The family visits were especially encouraging and enriching - we were graciously received by the elderly citizens 🥰 We listened to their stories, learned about the local welfare system and prayed with them! 🙏

One of the stories that was shared to us was from a woman who opened up to us about her loneliness and her struggles of being a single mom. She lost her job during the pandemic but still hasn't able to find a suitable one, and also needs to care for her child with health issues. She told us it is hard for her to have community, but she 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝘽𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚.

We encouraged her that Jesus loves her and cares for her, God even sent a group of Singaporean Christians to visit her today and prayed with her. We also helped her to install a Bible app on her tablet, arranged to get a physical Bible for her and shared words of affirmation with her. We were so 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡! SPers were so glad to be able to serve as translators!
