Yesterday we talked about Exodus 10:20-23
In this text, we are in the midst of the 10 plagues. In this plague, a deep, suffocating, paralyzing darkness covers the Egyptians, rendering them immobile and isolated in their own homes. The Israelites, however, had light in their homes and were able to lead productive lives during this period. What a reminder that Christ is the light of the world. With Christ illuminating our homes and lives there is no obstacle too large. Those without Christ are living in a palpable darkness that hinders them in every area.
We started our study by asking for volunteers to simulate trying to do every day things while living in darkness.
