We have strictly maintained protocols as related to COVID-19. However, today we have 20 of the children that have tested positive. All of them are stable and don’t need hospitalization. Please, keep them and the staff in your prayers..

After 4 months of not being able to travel to the Ahikam Children’s home finally travel restrictions were lifted a little. I was unprepared for the glee the girls expressed for the matching masks and head bands that we had made for them here in the capital. We have taken in 7 more girls. Please keep all of them in your prayers. Please share.

Lots of challenges here in Guatemala

The 8 hour drive to the Ahikam children’s home seems a lot longer now that we haven’t been able to go for over 2 months. We are able to stay in contact by phone and social media. We give praise to God that they are safe and have food. The following pic is the newest Baby (girl) born yesterday. Her mother is only 12! Pray with us for her healing. 2 other girls just arrived also. One gave birth 1 month ago and the baby died. Another was being sold as a pr******te by her “boyfriend”. We still can’t go to be there - helping with the multiple needs of these 4 new girls. But, we can pray and you can pray with us.

It is hard to believe that it has been a whole month since travel restrictions began here in Guatemala. We had already begun plans for the Children coming to Guatemala City for Holy Week. They had to stay at the home in Poptun and were not able to enjoy many activities we had planned for them. However, as you can see by the pictures they found a way to have fun. Please share.
