Semana Santa/Holy Week: In Guatemala it is a special week to celebrate. Children are out of school, many businesses close down part of the week, special meals are prepared, and there are colorful alfrombras (artistic displays of flowers, fruits, vegetables, or plants) covering the streets. Ministerios El Muro was able to provide over 80 families with pan de yema and chocolate to celebrate this special occasion. Thank you for your support towards the ministry.

Ministerios El Muro in partnership with Trinity Lutheran Church, Kansas City, completed the first home for the elderly. We were able to dedicate and move 80+ year old Juanita into her home Friday, February 27th.

The Trinity Lutheran Church mission team came to change the lives of three families in La Manzanita. They worked preparing a home for Doña Juanita, our first home for an elderly lady, and they worked on preparing the site for two future family homes.
