Spent today in Antigua before traveling home tomorrow. What a beautiful country! We have so many more pictures that we could post but wanted to get these our tonight.

The view of the city and the volcano at the cross lookout was breath taking. And the city is getting ready for Holy Week so they're carpeting the square and church floors with sand and vegetables that depict the salvation story. Amazing to see!

Pastor Luke delivered a devotional that reminded us of the seeds we have planted this week. We really appreciated his insite.

And we found out today that several patients we identified as needing surgery, and another who needed medicine and possibly surgery to save his eye, are getting exactly what they need. The local missionaries and pastors are working out the details for future care. God is good!

Photo dump of work day #5. 163 patients seen and 2 water filtration systems placed.

A very long day but we were encouraged as we worked along Guatemalan translators, pastors, doctors, superintendents, medical students and church members. We didn't always understand each other's languages (English, Spanish, and Q'eqchi') but the love of Christ ALWAYS translates! We are beyond blessed.

🦮🐾🌴Who wants to see more Max videos??

🐾 Just when we thought our mission trip couldn't get any more entertaining, we met the hotel's very own golden retriever! He’s a much more capable pool pooch than we originally thought.

There he is, standing on his back legs like a little furry human, just chillin' in the water!

🐶🏊‍♂️ While we were busy working hard, he was living his best life, soaking up the sun and enjoying the refreshing pool vibes.

We've officially declared him the unofficial mascot of our mission trip! So if you need us, we'll be taking notes on how to relax, ask Max our Golden Coconut Retrieving friend. 😂🐕‍🦺 🥥

🌧️🙏 Amidst the unexpected thunderstorm that swept through our Sunday medical clinic, we were reminded of God’s provision in the most refreshing ways. While the storm brought excitement, especially for the children who were gleefully screaming at the clap of thunder and feeling the gusts of wind tugging at the tarps, it was not without its own challenge.

Thanks to these now drying canopies, Guatemalans and missions staff were able to find shelter and continue vital work.

The storm not only provided us much needed cooler temperatures, but it also rejuvenated our spirits and fostered a sense of community. Just as the rain renews the earth, so too does God refresh and renew us when we start to fade. In moments like these, we remember that God brings us exactly what we need—if we are willing to find shelter in Him.

Here's to embracing the storms, finding joy under the canopies, and trusting in the renewed spirit that comes with every challenge! 🌈❤️
