We run a mission in Guazacapan ,Guatemala, we opened our doors in 2006 to teach the children about Jesus, we started out with around 20 children and know are working with over 100 and our classes are full and we have to say no to other children that want to come as we have run out of room. We have over 50 children in our Bible class three times a week that goes to school and it go up up to six gr
ade. They have music, a bible story, a paper to color, a craft and a light snack and drink. On Tuesday mornings we had a preschool program for 20 children and their Mom's or a family member, they could not come a lone. They also got music, a short Bible story a paper to color and a craft as well as they had play time with our toys. This was a great treat for them to be able to play as so many don't have toys ,we also gave them a snack but because of the Covid virus we have not been unable to restart this program. On Thursdays mornings we have over 50 teens ,These teens are learning the Bible and can probably out do most of us when it comes to finding the books. We also have a sponsor program to keep children in school. Here you don't have to go to school and you must have certain things to go,uniforms, bookbag and school supplies and books, the sponsor program makes sure your child has all of this as well as their tying fees and school fees. You must pay for school her after 6th grade and so many parents don't have the money to do that. We are working with families whom income maybe $25.00 a week or less. We also buy their med., as well as have their teeth pulled when they need to have that done. We have a handicap child that has a sponsor and receives food as well as Med., and clothes, the needs are difference, some children need more and some need less. For $25.00 a month you can sponsor one of our children, we have so many that need your help. We have been blessed to be able to do this and I give God all the glory for our work.
