This afternoon someone who was watching my TV program called me to ask ”What is the Bible?”
I paused for a while thinking here is someone who wants to debate me on the Bible. But after I have answered his question, he sounded satisfied and said thank you. He sounded as if he doesn’t know that there is something called the “Bible”.
I was later thinking, “are there people who truly don’t know that there is a book called the Bible?” Then there is a lot of work for Christians to do.

Because we as humans find it difficult to forgive those who have offended us and asked for forgiveness, we do think our heavenly father also finds it difficult to forgive us even when we have prayed asking forgiveness. But praise and thank God our Father. He doesn't just forgive our sins; He removes them from us completely and He remembers them no more!


Loving and merciful Father and holy God, thank you for giving me the great gift of forgiveness. Now, dear Lord, please help me to pass it along to others. In Jesus' name I pray.

"Come unto me all ye that are heavy burden and I'll give you rest."

These words of Jesus are still relevant and meaningful today.

It's a blessed Sabbath day and I do not know what burden you carry. Could it be a burden of stress, illness, brokenness or what have you?
One thing I do know is that our Lord is able to give us rest from our burdens.

So don't let that burden keep you from coming to Calvary this Sabbath morning, because burdens are always lifted at Calvary where Jesus is very near.
