OUR TEN YEARS MISSION
It was in 1931 that an Assemblies of God missionary came to Yendi and with the support of our grandfathers he started the first Assemblies Of God Church in Ghana. It has been 90 years now and Assemblies Of God Churches can be found in almost every part of Ghana. Even some towns and cities have many branches that it will even be difficult to count them. But when it comes to Yendi where Assemblies of God started 90 years ago, it is still one Church without a single branch added to it.
For the past 90 years we can confidently say that everything in Yendi has increased almost more than double except the Assemblies Of God Church in Yendi which remains single. There are so many suburbs in Yendi that you will not even come across a stone that is laid down for Christ not to talk of a Church building. I am not only referring to Assemblies Of God Church but Church as a body of Christ. There is no any denomination in these particular suburbs that I am going to mention: Kumlanfong, Warikpamo, Nayilifong, Saasigli, Mendogu, Kalibila, Kpatuya, Bagizoo, Guntingli, Madina and many others.
The Lord has laid in my heart to plant more Churches in Yendi and its surroundings before Assemblies Of God turned out to be a 100 year in Yendi. We are currently doing that in a suburb of Yendi called Saasigili (Airport area). The name of the Church is Spirit And Truth Assemblies of God Church.
The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ. Rev.11:15 b.
