The Church of Pentecost - Winneba Area The Church of Pentecost - Winneba Area, is a branch of The Church of Pentecost Worldwide.

This is a non-profit making Pentecostal Church with headquarters in Accra, Ghana. An Area of the Church of Pentecost, a classical Pentecostal traced to the ministry of an Irish missionary who arrived in Ghana in 1937. It exist to establish responsible and self sustaining churches filled with committed, Spirit filled Christians of character who will impact their communities.

Winneba Area observes International Day of the boy child

Under the Headship of Apostle Daniel Nii Tetteh Tackie, PEMEM and Schools outreach Ministry collaborated to celebrate the International Day of the Boy child.

The programme was held on Friday, 15th May, 2026 at Ansaful central Assembly under the theme "Flourish and Thrives; Investing and unleashing Boys for stronger families and communities (Psalm 144:2a)."

The event brought together schools within the vicinity for the maiden programme held to empower, educate, expose and equip male students.

Winneba Area celebrates Women's Week with a zonal Joint service

Under the leadership of the Area Head and his wife, Apostle Daniel Nii Tetteh and Mrs. Abigail Tackie, the Area Women's Ministry organized Zonal Joint Services at the four (4) zonal centres in the Area.

The programme was concurrently held on Wednesday, 6th May, 2026 at Awutu, Apam, Dawurampong and Winneba. The impressive attendance and exuberance witnessed in all the zones were a clear testimony of the commitment and sacrifice of Women in the church.

The Women's Week is being celebrated under the theme *Women Unleashed! Transforming our societies through the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit.*

Ministers and wives, Women's Ministry Leaders and Executive at the Area, District and Local as well as all Women participated in all earnestness.

Area Head leads three (3) fishermen to Christ

The Area Head, Apostle Daniel Nii Tetteh Tackie, has led three (3) adult fishermen to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

This took place in Winneba today, 5th May, 2026 during a Municipal dawn prayers that is held every Tuesday at Hallelujah Temple, Abasraba District, from 4:30 to 6:30 am. This dawn prayers attracts both members and non members, market women and fishermen alike, as well as different caliber of people.

Before the end of the service, the Area Head made an altar call to invite people to commit to Christ, and by the grace of God, three (3) fishermen who joined the prayers responded to the call. The new converts were prayed for by the Pastorate and handed over to Winneba District Pastor Ps. Kamal Kwakye,for baptism and follow up.

Present at the prayer meeting were Mrs. Abigail Tackie (Area Head's wife) and Pastors Samuel Davis (Abasraba District), Kamal Kwakye (Winneba District), Kofi Boateng (Low Cost District), Emmanuel
Gyimah (Gyaahadze District) and Eric Mireku (Winneba Sankor)
