This sermon is a continuation of the reminder about the benefits of the first 10 days of Dhu'l Hijjah, extending to the topic of Allah's test of His servants/slaves.
The key takeaway is, Allah tests us according to our level faith, never burdening a person beyond that which he or she can bear. Thus, the Prophets of Allah were those who were severely tested, followed by their companions, and then the righteous people among mankind as time passes.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:
"And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
"Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.""
(Qu'ran 2:155-156)
