SUNDAY PREACHING SERVICE —————————————————————
Title: "Father, Change My Destiny"
Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
We gathered today under the guidance of Deacon Joseph Ash*tei AMARH to reflect upon the powerful message he shared with us. The theme that resonated through his words was "Father, Change My Destiny."
Drawing from the scriptures in *John 5:1-10* and *John 9:14*, Deacon Joseph reminded us of the story of the crippled man, whose willingness to be healed exemplifies the transformative power of faith and hope. In *John 9:14,* we encounter the account of a blind man whose life changed dramatically through his belief in God.
We were urged to place our trust in the Lord, just as the crippled man who, after *38 years* of waiting, found his healing at the banks of the river. Deacon Joseph assured us that God can grant our deepest desires - be it for a journey, a job, or the blessing of marriage.
The lesson from John 5:1-10 emphasized the profound encounter between the Lord and the crippled man. Today, as we sit before the Lord, we too have the opportunity for a spiritual healing.
In our moments of worship, we sang, "W) y3 MOKO ni ats)l3 Yesu," reminding ourselves that unlike the crippled man, we have Jesus as our Helper. His presence brings about miraculous transformations.
Deacon Joseph encouraged us not to dwell on the length of our struggles. He reassured us that the same Lord who worked miracles in the past is more than capable of doing the same today, tomorrow, and forever. All we need is unwavering faith and hope, just like the blind man.
In our intercession prayer, we collectively sought the Lord's intervention in changing our destinies. Additionally, a seed for destiny change was sown, symbolizing our faith and trust in the Lord's transformative power.
Let us hold fast to this message, dear brothers and sisters, knowing that our Father is capable of changing our destinies. May our faith be steadfast, and our hope unwavering.
In His Grace,
Amen
