GOD KNOWS-HE ALWAYS KNOWS
Psalm 139:4-6 NLT
You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!

God knows - He always knows. As far as we come in life, as much as we experience, it is so small compared to the majesty and complete sovereignty of the Lord our God. Remembering this helps to keep us humble, because we live in service to the One who will always be far greater, far more than us: worthy of our worship and adoration. Lord God, help us to live in the light of Your presence and unfailing love. Let Your hand of blessing rest upon us as we work out our salvation in Christ Jesus. Holy Spirit, lead us in seeking the Lord and in knowing Him, but also protect our hearts from pride and deceit.

GOOD MORNING JESUS

THE GLORIOUS EXCHANGE
John 18:37-40 NLT
Pilate said, “So you are a king?”Jesus responded, “You say I am a king. Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.” “What is truth?” Pilate asked. Then he went out again to the people and told them, “He is not guilty of any crime. But you have a custom of asking me to release one prisoner each year at Passover. Would you like me to release this ‘King of the Jews’?” But they shouted back, “No! Not this man. We want Barabbas!” (Barabbas was a revolutionary.)

Jesus, betrayed by Judas and taken from Gethsemane, is delivered to Roman authorities. Even though Pilate finds no fault in Christ, the crowd demands the release of a known criminal in His place. This was a glorious exchange of life in Christ with death of humanity. Lord Jesus, you laid down your life for us all. It is only when you willingly choose to surrender your life to Jesus Christ that you have hope of being saved from sin and death. Accept Him as your Lord and Saviour and you're assured of eternal life! Thank you Lord, for "testifying to the truth", and that salvation was part of your plan. You are everything Jesus! As you chose to lay down your life for us, may we be led by the Holy Spirit and live lives that bring you glory.
