Today, as the countdown gives way to celebration, we thank God for the life and legacy of Papa Ernest Fianko Odame Adams. As it is written in Psalm 118:24, “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

We honour Papa not only for the years God has granted him but also for his faithful service to the Church and society. As the 2nd Lay Chairman of the Tema Diocese, he has demonstrated wisdom, dedication, and commitment to the work of God. Indeed, the Scripture in Proverbs 16:31 reminds us that “Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.”

Today’s lecture stands as a testimony that a life lived in faith and service leaves a legacy that inspires generations. May we celebrate with gratitude and continue to learn from the wisdom and example of Papa Ernest Fianko Odame Adams.
