CHURCH WORKERS TRAINING: A TIME OF SERVICE, HONOUR & EXCELLENCE
Christ Lampstand Church International recently held its maiden Church Workers Training, and it was a remarkable and impactful time of learning, equipping, reflection, and spiritual growth.
We are deeply grateful to Apostle Delight Evans McDaddy, our father and leader, for creating this platform and allowing us to be trained, equipped, and reminded of the great responsibility that comes with serving in the house of God. His commitment to building people and raising workers who will serve with the right heart continues to inspire us.
We were blessed to have three exceptional resource persons who took us through powerful and practical sessions on what it truly means to serve God and His people.
Our first speaker, Rev. Sharita Mcdaddyy, took us through the topic “Service with Character.” She reminded us that character is who you are when no one is watching. She challenged us to understand that our service to God must be backed by integrity, humility, discipline, and godly character. As Christians and church workers, we are called to emulate Jesus Christ and allow His character to be reflected in our everyday lives.
Our second speaker, Ms. Eni Akonobea, took us through “Honour in Conduct.” She helped us understand the importance of treating everyone with love, dignity, and respect, regardless of their position or status. She reminded us that our conduct as Christians should bring glory to Jesus Christ, and that the way we treat people can become a powerful testimony that draws others to Christ and helps win souls for the Kingdom.
Finally, Pastor Blankson Papa Yaw Boampong took us through “Honour with Excellence.” He challenged us as church workers to pursue excellence in every area of our service. He emphasized that our attitude, commitment, conduct, and approach to service should reflect Christ so clearly that our very lives become a form of evangelism and a testimony to those around us.
The training was more than just a programme; it was a time of equipping, correction, inspiration, and spiritual renewal. Every session brought valuable lessons and practical reminders that serving in God's house is both a privilege and a responsibility.
We are grateful to God for the lives of our resource persons, and for the wisdom, knowledge, and experience they shared with us. We are also grateful to Apostle Delight McDaddy for providing this opportunity and for his continued investment in the growth and development of the church workers.
It was truly an amazing and memorable time, and everyone who attended was blessed.
As we continue to serve, may we never forget:
We serve Christ.
We represent Christ.
We must reflect Christ.
May God help us to serve with Character, Honour, and Excellence.
