🎀 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS: EVERY VOICE MATTERS! 🎀

As part of our commitment to creating awareness and promoting healthy living, it is important that every Local Union within the Presbytery contributes at most a 1-minute video educating us on breast cancer awareness.

The purpose is simple but powerful: to educate, encourage early detection, and remind one another that breast cancer screening can save lives. 💗

Every Local Union has a voice, and every voice has a message worth hearing. From knowing the signs and symptoms to understanding the importance of regular screening, these one-minute messages helps everyone in general remember that early detection is not something to take lightly.

🎀 Know your body.
🎀 Know the signs.
🎀 Get screened.
🎀 Encourage someone else to do the same.

Because awareness is powerful, but early detection can be lifesaving.

As we bring SAG: September at Gethsemane, our season of fasting and prayer, to a powerful climax, we gather once again in THE UPPER ROOM for one night of deep fellowship, worship, prayer, and an encounter with God.

The Upper Room is where the disciples gathered, waited, prayed, and were empowered. And this time, we are gathering too!

Coordinators of District B visited Sebrepor, EPSU to interact with the members, encourage them, and understand the challenges facing the youth group. The visit created an opportunity for members to share their concerns and discuss possible ways forward.

One major challenge identified was the reluctance of members to take up executive positions. Members were therefore encouraged to be willing to serve, take up leadership responsibilities, and contribute actively to the growth and development of the Union.

Overall, the visit was fruitful and provided valuable encouragement and support to the members of Sebrepor, EPSU.❤️

✨ OFFICIAL VISITATION OF DISTRICT A COORDINATORS TO MOUNT ARARAT✨

As part of efforts to establish and expand EPSU within the Presbytery, the District A Coordinators visited the Youth Ministry of Mount Ararat Congregation yesterday, 16th August, 2026 to engage with the young people and explore the possibility of establishing an EPSU in the congregation.

The visit was aimed at introducing the work and vision of EPSU, understanding the youth's level of interest, and encouraging them to participate in the activities of the Union even before a formal local union is established. The Coordinators also informed the youth about upcoming Presbytery activities and encouraged them to remain connected.

The engagement provided an opportunity to build a relationship with the Youth Ministry and create awareness about EPSU within the congregation.
The church received the Coordinators warmly and commended the initiative. *As a gesture of appreciation, the church presented the Presbytery with a pen drive containing EPCG hymns performed by the church choir.*

The visit marks an important step towards laying the foundation for the establishment of EPSU at Mount Ararat Congregation.

✨A CONGRESS TO REMEMBER✨

Last week, the Meridian Presbytery joined delegates from across the country at Dzelukope, Keta, for the 32nd Annual Delegates’ Congress of the Evangelical Presbyterian Students’ Union (EPSU).
The Congress brought together members to deliberate, reflect, and contribute to the direction of the Union while strengthening fellowship among the various Presbyteries.
