Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. — Isaiah 60:1
As believers, we are called to be a beacon of hope in a world filled with fear, confusion, and disappointment. A beacon gives direction to those lost in darkness, and in the same way, Christ in us becomes light to others. No matter how difficult the season may be, God’s promises remain sure and unchanging.
When people see your faith, patience, modesty, love, and confidence in God during trials, they are encouraged to trust the Lord also. Hope is not built on circumstances; it is built on the unfailing Word of God. Even when doors seem closed and strength seems gone, God is still working behind the scenes.
Do not allow discouragement to quench your light. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing on the promises of God. Your testimony may become the encouragement someone else needs to continue their journey.
May your life shine as a beacon of hope, pointing many unto the Lord Jesus Christ.
